We have learned and taught many sorts of grammar, and used them.
The conjecture expression contains a variety of meanings not merely the conjecture as itself but also the justification, the intention, the volition, the euphemism, the politeness, the feasibility, etc. Nevertheless, the reason why this research mainly focuses on the conjecture sense is that the one is predominantly used in the meaning of the conjecture as itself. It is presumed that if the degree of accuracy, the probability, the inevitability, and wishes inside of the conjecture expression are comprehended and used, we can communicate with people in far more affluence. Thus this research starts from the point that the expression of conjecture has a key role to improve the communication faculty of learners, who are educated Korean as a second language.
I will be analyzing the teaching materials of four different other universities with the conjecture expression of ‘-겠-’, ‘-(으)ㄴ/는/(으)ㄹ 것 같다’, ‘-(으)ㄹ 것(이다)’, ‘-나/ㄴ/은가 보다’, ‘-(으)ㄴ/는/(으)ㄹ지도 모르다’, ‘-(으)ㄹ걸(요)’, which are selected through the analysis of corpus data. Moreover, I will be also bringing the Korean learners’ spoken text into the research objet and analyzing the expression of conjecture they use as well. Hence I will be presenting the effective teaching scheme for Korean learners.
Once the extractions of the conjecture expression of Korean people, I will be comparing to the selections from preceding studies, and then choosing the objects to discuss in this research.
Besides that, once the conjecture expressions are found in the Korean learners colloquial text, it is going to be observed how Korean learners present their conjecture expressions in Korean, and then their errors will be analyzed afterward.
In chapter three, the various sorts of conjecture expressions from four different other materials for Koran language teaching, which are predominantly used in Korea, will be observed.
In chapter four, derived from the observations from chapter two and three, I will be seeking efficient teaching methods of conjecture expression for Korean learners.
In chapter five, I will arrange and sum up the whole contents of the research, and ruminate the meaning of this research. Moreover, the lacking point of the research and the further direction about the studies of conjecture expression will be suggested.

한국어

우리는 많은 문법 항목을 배우고 가르치며 그것들을 사용한다. 우리가 사용하고 있는 이러한 추측 표현에는 추측의 의미 이외에도 당위성, 의도, 의지, 완곡, 공손, 가능성 등 여러 의미를 가지고 있다. 그렇지만 본고에서 추측의 의미에 초점을 맞춘 이유는 이러한 여러 의미 중에서도 추측의 의미로 가장 많이 사용하고 있기 때문이다. 그리고 그 추측 표현 속에 들어있는 확실성의 정도, 개연성, 필연성, 희망 등을 잘 파악하고 대화를 한다면 훨씬 풍부한 언어생활을 할 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 본고는 제2언로서의 한국어 학습자의 의사소통 능력 향상에 추측 표현의 교육이 중요한 역할을 한다는 관점에서 출발하였다. 본고는 말뭉치 자료 분석을 통하여 선정된 추측 표현 ‘-겠-’, ‘-(으)ㄴ/는/(으)ㄹ 것 같다’, ‘-(으)ㄹ 것(이다)’, ‘-나/ㄴ/은 가 보다’, ‘-(으)ㄴ/는/(으)ㄹ지도 모르다’, ‘-(으)ㄹ걸(요)’를 가지고 4개 대학의 교재를 분석하고, 한국어 학습자의 구어 텍스트를 연구 대상으로 하여 그들이 사용하는 추측 표현을 분석하고자 한다. 그리하여 한국어 학습자를 위한 효율적인 교육 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
