This paper examines residents' perception tourism impact, attitude and support toward marine tourist destination on a Kimnyung in Jeju city. The items for measuring perceptions and attitudes toward development are developed by previous related studies. 20 attributes were applied. A total of 237 out of 250 participants are required to rate the perceptions and attitudes attributes. These perception attributes are grouped into three dimensions; economical status, social disorder and tourism environmental disaster. Attitudes attributes are grouped into two dimensions; development necessity and development effect. It illustrates through Spss program, several unique results and recommendations are suggested. First of all, residents are considering economic impact with tourism development and its impact positively. Second, educational career, occupation, and monthly salary are positive and negative impacts on social disorder and environmental disaster. Third, higher salary group worry about positive impact for the development. These findings suggests several development implications for better regional development. First, regional development guideline is need to promote regional plan and attract residents' positive attitude. Second, it had better to cooperate with regional residents and stake-holders about clear plan communication network. Third, professional value evaluator system with human-ware for development process are needed. Even though this paper have some limitations, this result will provide several positive implications for regional toruism development.

본 연구에서는 해양관광개발에 대한 제주 김녕리 지역주민 인식이 태도 및 지지도 에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 향후 지역 해양관광개발의 발전을 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 해양관광개발에 대한 지역주민 설문조사에 따른 분석결과, 첫째, 경제향상 요인이 지역 관광개발 필요 및 개발효과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 학력, 직업, 월평균 소득에는 인구통계적 특성별 유의한 차이가 있었다. 특히 대졸 출신이 높은 사회불안정 우려를 하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 전문관리직 종사자가 환경파괴와 사회불안정에 대하여 높게 우려하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 넷째, 300-400만원대 소득자들이 사회불안정을 우려하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과들을 토대로 개발을 위한 지침, 이해당사자들의 협력네트워크 가동, 경제규모 가치분석 전문가 제도 도입 활용, 그리고 환경파괴와 사회불안정 우려에 대한 개발계획의 사전공지와 개발 단계별 영향분석 정보 공유, 휴먼웨어가 접목된 관광객, 지역주민, 그리고 개발목표를 수립하는 관광개발 문화 구축 등을 제시하였다.
