It is very important to enhance the quality of our traditional culture and the cultural content, while culture becomes the foundation of each nation’s competitiveness. Nowadays, the cultures that possess the inimitable Korean origin integrate into digital technology, and contribute greatly to the introducing the excellence of typical Korean culture to the whole world. generally, there are reports on beard formations and techniques standardized by different categories of age, shape, and role. However, from the past until now, researches on the change of beard according to social change from humanities aspects is much to be desired, and also studies on physiological part as well. Here, I would like to closely study these portions in depth. Moreover, I will explain the validity of beard make-up, and learn the basics of the state of effective beard formations. In addition, I hope examining areas the basic form of beard can be applied will be able to play a part in mass production of the best-quality tradition and cultural contents. At such times, it is very important to produce the most honest and genuine traditional contents, while securing professionalism in our make-up environment based on thorough historical research. Hereupon, the ultimate purpose of this study is producing the complete tradition and cultural content by establishing the basic form of beard through portraits from the Joseon dynasty period, and looking for ways to apply them most effectively.
