This study focuses on constructing the curriculum of child Baduk education, concretely setting up goals, selecting and organizing instructional contents. For this aim, need analysis was conducted by the in-depth interview to the experts of Baduk education to establish instructional goals of the introductory course of child Baduk education, the textbooks of introductory Baduk were examined for extracting learning contents, and some principles about the curriculum were considered for organizing instructional contents.
The results from this study were as follows:
First, the need analysis showed three major needs for child Baduk education are pleasure, increasing Baduk strength, and child development.
Second, on the basis of these three needs, the goals of the introductory Baduk education were set up with experiencing the pleasure of play, making progress in Baduk, facilitating child development. These goals were classified into interest, pleasure, wholesome leisure life; rules, techniques, actual games; development in language, morals, intellectual power.
Third, as a result of choosing 6 textbooks according to the criteria of steady-seller, expertise, recent publication, instructional text, the main contents turned out to be the four domains of culture, rules, techniques, actual games.
Fourth, considering the principles of organizing a general curriculum, the curriculum of Baduk for the introductory course was organized in accordance with the structure, scope, continuity, chronological sequence, gradual complexity, logical prerequisite, increasing abstractness, and integration.

본 연구는 아동 바둑 입문 교육과정을 구성하는 데 목적을 두고, 바둑교육전문가에 대한 심층면접을 통해 요구분석을 실시하여 아동 바둑의 입문과정 목표를 설정하고, 학습내용 선정을 위하여 입문바둑교재를 분석하고, 교육과정 조직 원리를 고찰하여 학습내용을 조직하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 아동 입문 바둑교육의 요구분석에서는 크게 즐거움, 기력향상, 아동발달의 세 가지의
요구가 조사되었다.
둘째, 아동 입문 바둑교육에 관한 요구분석에서 표출된 세 가지 요구를 반영하여 아동 입문바둑교육의 목표를 즐거운 놀이경험, 기력향상, 전인적 성장발달로 설정하였다. 즐거운 놀이경험의 세부목표는 흥미ㆍ즐거움ㆍ건전한 여가생활이며, 기력향상의 세부목표는 바둑의 규칙ㆍ기술ㆍ실전학습이고, 전인적 성장발달의 세부목표는 언어력ㆍ도덕성ㆍ탐구능력 발달이다.
셋째, 스테디셀러, 전문성, 최신출판, 교육용교재의 선정기준에 따라 6개의 교재를 선정하여 입문바둑내용을 분석한 결과 주요 내용은 교양, 규칙, 기술, 실전의 네 가지 영역으로 나타났다.
넷째, 일반적인 교육과정조직 원리에 따라 아동 입문 바둑교육과정을 조직구조, 스코프, 연속성, 계열성의 연대순, 단순에서 복잡, 논리적 선행 요건, 추상성의 증가와 통합성의 방법으로 조직하였다.
