- This research will consider the problem of designing karkassno-membrane space structures. We consider three variants of the design space of shells formed by the graphs of mathematical functions, as well as a comparison with the shell, obtained without the use of mathematical methods of construction. It is also calculated on the strength of all 4 designs in the program, Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis followed by analysis and comparison of the structures developed. The purpose of this paper is to study the effectiveness of the surfaces formed by mathematical functions, the design of spatial shells of civil and industrial buildings.
