This study aims primarily to examine the effect of Problem-Based Bible Learning(PBL) on the Image of God, Self-Concept Clarity and Human Relationship of Christian university students, and to provide them with practical information and support to effectively follow bible lecture courses in a Christian university. The object of this study is 81 university students who applied for the course of "contemporary people and the Bible" as a Christian liberal arts subject in the H-university located at Daejeon city. The students were given two formal classes and one autonomic class every week during totally 12 weeks under the PBL. Before and after the PBL a paired t-test was practiced on the basis of three checklists composed of the Image of God, Self-Concept Clarity and Human Relationship. As a result it was recognized that for the Image of God the total score and the scores of all sub-categories reveal difference of significance, while for Self-Concept Clarity the total score and the score of sub-categories of Self-Confirmation differ significantly, and for Human Relationship the total score and a sub-category score of Sensitivity show difference of significance. Before and after practicing PBL, the Pearson correlation analysis was carried out to know relations between each two categories of Gods Image, Self-Concept Clarity and Human Relationship, and the result shows that each two categories are significantly correlated, particularly, after the PBL. It was recognized that any change within one category among three mutually related ones, eventually triggers change in correlations with other categories. It means that the students struggling with an uncertainty of self-identity, once obtaining the positive image of God through the PBL, make clear of Self-Concept as to "who I am", and further influence positively on the improvement of Human Relationship by treating others in a considerable and respectful way. Therefore the PBL will positively enhance the Image of God, Self-Concept Clarity and Human Relationship of university students.

본 논문은 문제중심 성서학습이 대학생의 하나님 이미지와 자기개념 명료성 및 인간관계에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고, 그 결과를 기초로 해서 앞으로 기독교 대학에서 대학생들에게 어떻게 성서수업을 효율적으로 진행 할 것인지에 대한 실제적인 도움을 주고자 하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 대전시에 소재하고 있는 H대학의 기독교교양과목인 성서과목을 수강 신청한 대학생 81명이다. 이들에게 문제중심 성서학습을 12주 동안 주2회 전체학습과 주1회 자율학습으로 실시하였으며, 사전․사후에 하나님 이미지 척도와 자기개념 명료성 척도 및 인간관계 척도를 사용하여 사전․사후 t-검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 하나님 이미지는 하나님 이미지 전체와 하위영역 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 자기개념 명료성은 자기개념 명료성 전체와 하위영역 중 자기 확신성에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 인간관계는 인간관계 전체와 하위영역인 민감성에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 문제중심 성서학습을 실시한 전․후에 하나님 이미지, 자기개념 명료성, 인간관계의 상관성을 알아보기 위해 피어선 적률상관분석을 실시하였는데, 그 결과 문제중심학습 이후 세 개의 척도 간에 상호 유의한 상관관계가 있음이 확인되었다. 이는 세 가지 중 어느 하나의 변화가 또 다른 것의 변화를 가져오는데 역동적으로 작용하면서 서로 상관관계의 변화를 일으키는데 긍정적으로 작용했음을 알 수 있었다. 즉 하나님에 대한 긍정적인 이미지를 가지게 됨으로서, 자기정체성에 대한 불명확성으로 갈등을 겪는 대학생들이 내가 누구인가에 대한 자기개념이 더 명료해졌고, 이는 나아가 타인을 배려하고 존중하는 인간관계의 향상에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 문제중심 성서학습이 대학생의 하나님 이미지, 자기개념 명료성 및 인간관계의 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 시사 한다고 할 수 있다.
