This paper considers synthetically in view of the effect analysis of North Korean defectors's Informationalization with proofs from field study and the like the problems of helping andadapting North Korean defectors who are interesting the public as the number has been being increased recently. I should realize that the whole process from the defectors' generation, to entering South Korea and to settling there is closely connected and it is very important to have the defectors settle successfully in South Korea by taking connected and synthetic measures to help them in that we can accomplish social integration between South and North Korea more easily in this way. In conclusion, this studies searching for and presenting alternative policies and solving the problems of the defectors Informationalization and Economic adaptation. It is believed that social integration of two Koreas in the future depends on whether we succeed in dealing with the defectors problems.

본 연구는 정보화 패러다임의 변화에 따라 북한이탈주민의 정보화 수준이 경제적 적응에 미치는 영향을 분석하므로써 북한이탈주민의 남한사회 정착에 기여하는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 즉 북한이탈주민의 남한사회에서의 경제 적응의 어려움이 정보화 격차 문제에서 파생되는 요소임에 주목하고자 하였다. 남북한이 동일한 언어를 사용함에도 불구하고 북한이탈주민이 정보화에 익숙한 외국인보다도 남한사회에 더 적응하기 힘든 상황이 초래될 수 있다는 것이다. 북한이탈주민의 자본주의 경제체제에의 적응은 미래지향적으로 볼 때, 남북한주민의 사회통합의 주요 바로미터가 될 수 있다. 따라서 북한이탈주민들의 정보화 수준이 경제적 적응에 미치는 영향 분석을 통해 우리사회의 정보격차 해소에 대한 정책 제언은 물론 북한이탈주민의 원활한 경제적 적응상태가 사회통합과 상관관계에 있음을 설명하고자 하였다.
