The purpose of this study was to manually configure the parental education program and verify its effectiveness by focusing on Enneagram program and additionally using several communication techniques which belongs to Gordon’s parents efficiency training which is one of ways of parents educations in order to help enhance the understanding and communication between parents and children. The subjects of this study were parents of youth children living in Seosan. They were divided into 10 people for experimental group and 10 people for control group. The experiment was conducted twice a week for 2 hours over total 8 sessions. The results of this study were as follows. First, the results of homogeneity test showed that there were no differences in affection, rejection and controlling attitude among four sub-areas of the child rearing attitudes between the experimental group prior to parents education program using the Enneagram and control group. But it was shown that autonomous attitude was not homogeneous. Second, as parental education program using the Enneagram showed the effects in all four areas such as affection, rejection, autonomous and controlling attitude, it demonstrated that the hypothesis for this study was verified.

본 연구의 목적은 에니어그램을 활용한 부모교육 프로그램을 중심으로 하고 부모교육방법의 하나인 Gordon의 부모 효율성 훈련 중에서 부모와 자녀간의 이해 및 의사소통을 증진시키는데 도움을 주는 의사소통 기법 몇 가지를 보조적으로 사용하여 부모교육 프로그램을 직접 구성하고 실시하여 그 효과성을 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구 프로그램은 서산시에 거주하는 청소년 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 하여 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명으로 하였고 주 2회 2시간씩 총 8회기에 걸쳐 실시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 동질성 검증 결과 실험집단과 통제집단의 자녀양육태도 네 가지 하위영역 중 애정, 거부, 통제적 태도는 동질 하였으나 자율적 태도는 동질하지 않은 상태로 나타났다. 둘째, 에니어그램을 활용한 부모교육 프로그램의 효과는 애정적 태도와 자율적 태도에서 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
