The international marriage immigration woman with peculiarity of the population social school register condition where oneself is placed about reduction will compare in the common person and there is a tendency which presumes that oneself the probability where becomes the crime victim will be high.
Actually the international marriage immigration woman the fraud in compliance with the marriage mediation business place from marriage process, domestic violence, about crime of wages exploitation etc. position with indirect damage experiences about reduction being afraid about crime damage, is undergoing.
The positive analysis which establishes in the theoretical view which hereupon about being afraid about crime of the international marriage immigration woman, relates from this research led and was afraid between under examining closely boil a relationship about various population social school register quality and crime of the international marriage immigration woman.

국제결혼 이주여성은 자신이 처한 인구사회학적 조건의 특수성으로 인하여 일반인에 비해 스스로 범죄피해자가 될 확률이 높을 것으로 추정하는 경향이 있다.
실제로 국제결혼 이주여성은 결혼과정에서 결혼중개업소에 의한 사기, 가정폭력, 임금착취 등의 범죄에 대한 직․간접적 피해경험으로 인하여 범죄피해에 대한 두려움을 겪고 있다.
이에 이 연구에서는 국제결혼 이주여성의 범죄에 대한 두려움에 대해 관련되는 이론적 조망에 기초한 실증적 분석을 통해 국제결혼 이주여성의 제반 인구사회학적 특성과 범죄에 대한 두려움 간의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 국제결혼 이주여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 국제결혼 이주여성의 범죄에 대한 두려움은 연령과 직업, 거주 지역, 국적 취득여부, 결혼기간, 결혼 동기 및 경로에 따라 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다.
지금까지 국제결혼 이주여성에 대한 사회복지적 측면에 대한 전체적인 실태조사 내지는 지원 연구는 존재하지만, 범죄와 관련된 체계적인 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 특히, 이들의 범죄에 대한 두려움 정도에 대한 과학적 분석에 의한 인식 연구는 이루어 지지 않았다. 따라서 이 연구는 국제결혼 이주여성의 범죄두려움에 대한 최초의 사전적 연구로서의 의미를 지니며, 이를 통해 국제결혼 이주여성의 범죄에 대한 두려움의 정도 및 인식에 대한 향후 쟁점을 부여하는데 대한 파생논의를 기대해 본다.
