This study was an action research about support program focus on the language development for 3-year old class children from multicultural family. First of all data was collected about language expression and home environment of them to make a plan language development support program. Next the team consist of professor and teachers discussed about the reason of their delay and we tried to find out the appropriate support strategies for them. And we established the comprehensive support program including direct support activities for them, support activities through their siblings , peers and other teachers and support activities through their mother. Each activities were made, arranged and conducted based on the day care center's curriculum. The process of this study was circulated by teacher's reflective thinking on the problem of each activities which was right conducted. The video taped and analyzed on the free-play of the class to evaluate the progress of the participants while the planned activities were conducted. Besides the participants' spontaneous utterances in whole day were collected and analyzed. It was observed that the participants spontaneous utterances were improved in terms of it's frequent and length according the program was conducted. The process and the results of this action research will be the one of many strategies for supporting multicultural family children, especially to help their language development delay.

이 연구는 만3세 학급의 다문화가정 배경 쌍둥이의 언어발달을 돕기 위해 계획된 언 어지원 활동을 실 행하는 과정에 관한 연구이다. 언어지원 활동 프로그램을 계획하기 위해 우선 쌍둥이의 언어행동 관찰 및 가정환경 자료들을 수집하였다. 그 다음 전문가 집단과 함께 문제의 원인과 적절한 지 원활동들을 토론하 고 모색하였다. 쌍둥이에 대한 직접적인 지원활동, 학급의 또래와 쌍둥이의 형제가 도 움을 줄 수 있도록 하는 방안, 쌍둥이의 어머니를 지원하는 방안 등을 포함하는 포괄적인 지원계획을 수립 하였다. 각각의 활 동들을 어린이집의 보육과정의 주제에 맞도록 구성하고 일과 중 적절한 시간에 배치하 여 실행하였다. 교 사의 반성적 사고과정을 통해 각 활동 실행의 문제점을 분석하여 이후 활동에 반영하는 순환적인 과정으 로 진행하였다. 계획된 언어지원활동을 실행하면서 대상유아들의 진보상황을 확인하기 위해 유아들 간의 자유놀이 장면을 캠코더로 촬영하여 분석하였고, 그 밖에 일과 중에 나타나는 쌍둥이의 자발화 언어들을 교사가 수집하여 분석하였다. 프로그램이 실행됨에 따라 점차 쌍둥이의 자발화 횟수가 늘어나고 자발화 문장의 길이도 길어지는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 다문화가정 자녀가 겪는 어려움 중, 특 히 언어발달 지연 을 지원하기 위해서 본 연구에서 계획하고 실행한 과정이 하나의 전략으로 시도될 수 있을 것이다.
