This study was designed to develop and apply teaching-learning materials using visual media with elementary school students and examine their effect on family life attitude. It aims to understand the value and meaning of family, roles and tasks they can do for their family and develop the attitude to love family through class using visual media. Teaching-learning contents selected movie and short video of family love that can touch students and contained all factors including meaning of family, etiquette of family, parental love, fraternalism, my roles in family and happy family. Class was conducted with various activities such as role play, mind map, drawing, discussing, practicing and writing letters which were prepared in consideration of learners' interest and level based on eight learning themes and total 16 lessons using extra-curricular activity. As a result of applying teaching-learning materials using visual media, it was found that value of family, my roles in family, and attitude to parents, siblings and relatives were positively changed. In addition, the subjects' awareness and attitude of family life from knowledge, emotion and attitude of students were changed and they showed interest and satisfaction with teaching-learning. From the above results, it was considered that teaching-learning using visual media was effective in changing desirable attitude of family life in elementary school students and showed positive effects on family life in cognitive, affective and behavioral aspects.

이 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 영상매체를 활용한 교수 학습 자료를 개발하고 이를 적용하여 가정생활태도에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 이 연구는 개발한 영상매체를 활용한 수업을 통하여 가족의 소중함, 가족의 의미를 이해하고 가족을 위해 내가 할 수 있는 역할, 일들을 알아보고, 가족들을 아끼고 사랑하는 태도를 기르는 것을 목표로 하였다. 교수 학습의 내용은 학생들에게 감동을 줄 수 있는 가족 간의 사랑이 담긴 내용의 영화와 단편동영상을 선정
하여 가족의 의미 및 소중함, 가족 간 예절, 부모님의 사랑, 형제나 친척 간의 우애, 가족 내에서의 나의 역할, 행복한 가정 등의 내용 요소가 포함되도록 구성하였다. 수업실행 방법은 역할극, 마인드 맵, 그리기, 만들기, 토론하기, 실습하기, 편지쓰기 등 학습자의 흥미와 수준을 고려해 다양한 활동으로 구성하였으며 개발된 수업은 8개의 학습 주제로, 총 16차시로 구성하여 재량활동 시간을 이용하여 수업하였다. 영상매체를 활용한 교수 학습 자료를 적용한 결과 부모님에 대한 태도, 형제나 친척들에 대한 태도 등이 긍정적으로 변화하였다. 또한 학생들의 지식, 태도의 측면에서 긍정적으로 변화하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 영상매체를 활용한 교수 학습은 초등학생의 가정생활에 대한 바람직한 태도 변화에 효과가 있었으며, 지식, 태도 측면에서 가정생활에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 보인다. 또한 향후 실과 수업을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
