The number of youths in Korean churches has decreased. Even the youths who go to church because of their faith have not found a true attraction or understood the goal of church life. In order to overcome such a crisis situation, professional ministers have been invited to minister but have not shown any good results. Most churches are loosing their youths and no effective plans to respond to this situation have been found.
In order to deliver the gospel correctly to the youths, a correct understanding of their culture needs to come first because they are the most sensitive to culture. Their culture of expressing their personality and characteristics needs to be respected to lead to the christianity world view. However, churches have not accepted their culture yet, and ultimately have been unable to reach to them. When their language and culture are understood, the gospel can be delivered to them.
The development of many cultures and civilizations, especially the internet or mass culture, are strategies of evil trying to lead youths away from God. Therefore, our role and the church’ mission is to deliver the gospel to them so they can achieve true faith and a christian viewpoint.
In this paper, the culture, characteristics, and current status of youths are studied as well as problems of the youth culture formation and the conflicting structure between churches and youths, in order to suggest plans to minister to youths through their culture.

최근 한국교회 안에서 청소년부 아이들이 큰 폭으로 줄어들고 있다. 또한 신앙생활을 하고 있는 청소년들도 교회 생활에 대해 진정한 매력이나 목적을 찾지 못하고 있다. 이런 위기적인 상황을 극복하기 위해 각 교회마다 청소년부를 살리기 위해 전문 사역자들을 초청하여 전도를 강조하고 있지만 좋은 결과가 나타나지 않고 있다. 대부분의 교회에서는 청소년들을 점점 잃어가는 실정이고 이것에 대처할 만한 좋은 대안을 찾지 못하고 있다.
본 연구는 아동기와 성인기 사이에서 정체성의 혼란을 겪고 있는 청소년들에게 기독교 문화 프로그램을 통한 전도 방안을 제시하였다. 청소년들은 대부분의 시간을 학교에서 보내고 대학 진학을 최우선시하는 사회풍토 속에서 힘들게 살아가고 있다. 특히 문화에 민감한 그들은 자신들만의 문화 프로그램과 공간의 부족으로 문화의 혜택을 누리지 못하고 있다. 이러한 현상은 청소년들이 잘못된 문화를, 특히 기성세대의 바라직하지 못한 문화를 여과없이 흡수하고 받아들임으로 이에 대한 대처가 시급한 실정이다.
이에 대하여 청소년과 청소년 문화의 특성과 실태를 살펴보았고, 청소년 문화 형성의 문제점, 그리고 실제적으로 몇 교회가 실시하여 성과를 거둔 기독교 문화를 통한 청소년 전도 방안으로 문화 프로그램을 소개하였다.
청소년에게 복음을 바르게 전하기 위해서는 그들의 문화를 우선 이해해야 한다. 왜냐면 청소년만큼 문화에 민감한 세대는 없을 것이다. 그들의 특징과 개성을 표현하는 문화를 존중하고, 기독교적 세계관으로 이끌어 주어야 한다. 그러나 교회는 미쳐 청소년들의 문화를 수용하지 못하고 있으며, 결국 그들에게 다가가지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 그들의 언어와 문화를 이해할 수 있어야 그들에게 복음을 전할 수 있는 것이다.
