According to progress in economic development and globalization, including the working poor, as well as expanding absolute poverty class, poverty can be explained in terms of which one is not a phenomenon. Complex system is useful to find a hidden universal order to adapt, this theory to get to the best ways for us to understand poverty from different perspectives in a complex world. Simply the problem of poverty as a lack of material away from the piecemeal understanding, through complex system ‘emergence’ according to the dimension of the economic growth and globalization studied at many different aspects about the poverty. Self-organization studied at in combination, such as fair trade, local food, Official Development Assistance in the form of poverty’s solving process.

경제발전과 세계화 진전에 따른 절대적 빈곤층뿐만 아니라 근로빈곤층(working poor)을 포함한 신빈곤(new poverty)이 확대되고 있는 가운데, 빈곤은 어느 하나의 관점으로 설명될 수 있는 현상이 아니다. 복잡계는 복잡한 세상 속에 숨겨진 보편적인 질서를 찾아 이에 적응하는 최적의 방안을 찾아가는 이론으로 우리에게 빈곤문제를 다양한 관점에서 이해하는데 도움을 준다. 즉 빈곤문제를 단순히 물질적 부족함에 있는 단편적인 이해에서 벗어나 복잡계를 통해‘창발(emergence)’차원에서 경제성장과 세계화에 따른‘빈곤’에 관한 다양한 모습을 살펴보았다. 또한‘자기조직화’(selforganization)차원에서 빈곤의 해결과정에서 나타나는 현상을 공정무역, 로컬푸드, 공적개발원조를 중심으로 살펴보았다.
