At the beginning of June, 2011, China and North Korea declared together that they will join effort sin developing Nasun and Hwangkumpyeong Special Economic Zone of North Korea. This news encouraged many scholars who look forward to North Korea’s economic reform and development. As the situation In China 30 years ago, North Korea’s open in Special Economic Zone is also a test of reform which under the precondition of no damage to its political power. China’s open in Special Economic Zone played a decisive role in China’s rapid economic development and its all-round opening up. The effects will also take place in North Korea. Furthermore North Korea’s open and development in Special Economic Zone will take an active role in the Economic integration after the unification of north and south part of Korea Island. And it also has a possibility to make North Korea into a growth pole in Northeast Asia.
