The object of study is to inquiry into how the consciousness of the Altaic people to Japanese came into existence and what sort of role it played during Japanese imperialists' invasion of Asian continent. The process of consideration is as the following. The first is The details for Modern Japanese consciousness and study on their own people of coming into existence, the second is about Adolf Hitler's Germanism and the second World War, and the Third is about Japanese imperialists' policy of the people during the World War Ⅱ. First of all, Japanese imperialists asserted that racial union for Japanese people to b e the leading power was the most important to East Asian peoples to obstruct for the western white races to come into East Asian countries. So as the first step, Japanese imperialists gave rise to The yellow races against the Wastern white races from East Asian people. that is What we can the Pan-Asianism. But their appeal to East Asian peoples Japanese imperialists outmaneuvered such strategy that as the first step they occupy the Korean peninsula and the of Manchurian and Hongolian regions where Altaic languages are spoken as the case of Japan, as the second step they occupy the chinese language are used with the means taken at the first step, and as the final step they compete with Western white races with the property of whole East Asian area taken through the two leave of steps. All wars such as the Sino-Japanese War, the Russo-Japanese War, the Manchurian Incident the Chinese-Janpanese War, and the Second world War were broken out under Such as composition. That I emphasis is this study is Japanese imperialists at the times of such as wars, especially at the Second World War constructed the policy of the racialism centering around the Altaic peoples in which Japanese people occupies the top of them.

본 연구는 근대일본인의 민족의식과 민족연구의 성립경위, 히틀러의 게르만 민족주의와 제 2차 대전, 대전시기 일제의 민족정책 등에 관한 고찰을 통하여 일제가 대륙을 침략했을 당시 일본민족학계에 알타이 민족의식이 어떻게 성립되었으며, 그것이 어떠한 역할을 했는지에 대한 고찰을 목적으로 한다. 그 고찰의 결과는 다음과 같이 정리될 수 있다. 우선, 일제는 서구 백인종의 동아시아침략을 물리치기 위해 일제를 맹주로 하는 동아시아인의 인종적인 단결이 선결과제라는 입장을 취했다. 그래서 일제는 우선 서양의 백인종에 대한 동아시아의 황인종의식을 불러일으켰다. 아시아주의가 바로 그 일례이다. 하지만 일제의 그러한 호소는 동아시아의 여러 민족에게 먹혀들지 않았다. 그리하여 일제는 우선 첫 단계로서 일본민족의 경우와 비슷한 알타이 어를 사용하는 한반도의 한국과 중국 동북의 만몽지역을 점령하여 그것을 발판으로 제 2단계에서는 한족이 통치해 가는 중국의 중남부지역을 손에 넣었고, 마지막으로 동아시아의 전 지역을 기반으로 하여 서구 백인종을 상대해 간다고 하는 기본적 구도를 지니게 되었다. 청일전쟁, 러일전쟁, 만주사변, 중일전쟁, 태평양전쟁은 바로 그러한 구도에 의해 일어났던 것이다. 일제는 이러한 전쟁, 특히 태평양전쟁시기 나치 독일의 민족정책을 받아들여 그것을 기초로 하여 일본민족을 정점으로 하는 알타이 민족주의의 민족정책을 구축해 갔었던 것이었다.
