It is emphasized that the performance and safety of Diagnostic medical X-ray protective medical devices as the health inspection and an X-ray examination are increased. The purpose of this study is to revise and develop the standards to evaluate the safety and function of x-ray protective apron·glove, screens·glass plates which are basic and widely used protective devices. The standards for X-ray protective apron·glove, screens have enacted based on KS standards which enacted on 1970's. We revise the standards for X-ray protective apron· glove, screens and develop the standards of X-ray protective glass. We examined the international standards such as protective devices against diagnostic medical X-radiation Part 3 : Protective clothing and protective devices for gonads and Part 2 : Protective glass plates. The new standards were confirmed by the test of some commercial protective devices. It will be applied to enact the revise the electronic medical device standards. So it can be applied to evaluation of safety and performance on technical file. It can also be improve the quality of protective devicesagainst adiagnostic medical X-radiation (apron· glove, screens·glass plates) and increase the international competitive power of domestic product.

국민 건강 검진에 대한 인식이 증가함에 따라 기본 검진항목인 진단용 엑스선 촬영이 빈번하게 이루어지고 있 으며 이에 따라 보다 안전하고, 우수한 성능의 방사선 방어용 기구의 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 진단용 엑스선 촬영 시 가장 기본적이고, 사용이 빈번한 방사선 장해 방어용 기구인 앞치마·장갑 및 칸막이·투명판의 기준규격을 제·개 정 하여 방사선방어용 의료기기의 품질관리에 적정을 기하기 위한 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 방사선방어용 앞치마, 장갑 및 엑스선방어용칸막이는 3개 품목에 대한 기준규격은 「전자의료기기 기준규격」으로 설정되어있으나, 그 참 고규격인 KS규격이 1970년대에 제정된 것으로 최신 규격과의 비교 검토를 하였으며, ‘엑스선방어용칸막이’의 보기창 으로 사용되는 ‘엑스선방어용투명판’의 기준규격을 별도로 설정하여 구체적인 기준 및 시험방법을 제시하였다. 국제 기 준규격인 ‘IEC 61331-3 진단용X선 방사선에 대한 방어용구-3부 : 방어복 및 생식선 방어용구’, ‘IEC 61331-2 -2부 방 어용 투명판’ 및 KS 규격을 참고로 하여, 방사선방어용앞치마·장갑및엑스선방어용칸막이·투명판의 기준규격 초안 을 마련하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 기준규격(안)을 「전자의료기기 기준규격」제·개정에 활용하여, 방사선방어용앞 치마·장갑및엑스선방어용칸막이·투명판의 기술문서및허가등에 관한 서류 작성 및 시험검사에 활용하고자한다. 이 를 통하여 방사선 장해 방어용 기구의 품질향상 및 국제 수준의 안전성과 국제 경쟁력 확보에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
