This study is about the introduction to Japan of copies of Joseon period appearing on Wae-in-gu-cheong-dueng-lok(倭人求請謄錄). Therefore this study focused on the processing method about Japan’s request to Joseon, the kind of asked books from Japan, and the introduction courses in Japan after coming down from Joseon. 17th Century is important moment on publish culture in Japan. Wae-in-gu-cheong-dueng-lok is one of the best document showing that. So it has important meaning. It was ascertained to have some gaps of the record dates and the number of asked books of Japan between Wae-in-gu-cheong-dueng-lok and real aspect because of general method compiled dueng-lok. In early 18C, it had been become to decline the number of asked books as well as overall asked things. And in broad outline Joseon permited Japan’s asking except the books written by Joseon’s people. There are some kinds of books asked Japan like the confucianism, the medical, the historical, and the literary ets. This patterns correspond with publish tendency of Japan in the same time and Japan asked not limiting the books written by Joseon’s people. And the copies of Joseon had been moved into several places in Japan, and had given some effects about formation of library owned Tsushima(對馬島)’s ruler.

이 연구는 『倭人求請謄錄』에 나타난 일본의 서적 구청의 경우에 대하여 전체적인 전개 양상과 조선의 처리 방법, 구청 서적의 성격, 그리고 이후 전래 경로에 대해 살펴본 것이다. 일본의 출판문화사에 있어 17세기는 임진왜란과 일본 내의 변화를 계기로 큰 전환점을 맞이하는데, 『倭人求請謄錄』은 이러한 경향을 여실히 보여주고 있다. 여기에는 서적의 전래 방식과 요청 사유 및 처리 과정뿐만 아니라 당시 조선의 출판 사정까지도 엿볼 수 있어 17세기 양국의 서적문화사에 있어 중요한 의미를 갖고 있다. 이 기록에서 최초 서적 구청 요청 시점이나 건수는 등록의 일반적인 작성 방법과 일본의 구청 사실이 남아있는 여타의 기록으로 약간의 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 조선은 요청 받은 서적에 대해 대체적으로는 허락하였으나, 조선인 저서의 경우는 거절한 경우가 대부분이었다. 일본에서 요청한 서적은 유학서를 주로 하여 의서, 역사서, 시․문집류 등이 있었는데, 이는 당시 일본의 출판 경향과도 부합하며, 꼭 조선인 저서만을 요청하였던 것은 아님을 알 수 있었다. 이처럼 조선에서 구청을 통해 대마도로 건너간 서적은 宗家文庫를 형성하는데 어느 정도 기인했을 것으로 보이며, 이후 여러 경로를 거쳐 현재 일본과 한국에 퍼져 있음을 확인하였다.
