Purpose：The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that are importantly considered by the adult women for successful aging and the relationship between perception for successful aging and general characteristic factors of adult women through the analysis of this study. Method：The data were collected by questionnaire from 120 women. the subjects of this study were women in Kyunggi-Do S city. the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test and pearson correlation coefficients. Results：The most important factor for perception for successful aging of adult women was selfcontrol, the second was couple life like companion, the third was satisfaction with adult children’s success, the last was selfefficacy. Conclusion：These results suggested that the education program in later life consisted of the four factors of successful aging. (Journal of The Korean Academy of Clinical Art Therapy 2009;4(2):81-90)

본 연구의 목적은 성공적인 노화에 대한 인식과 성인여성의 일반적인 특성간의 관계 와 성공적인 노화에 대하여 성인여성이 중요한 요인으로 인식하고 있는 요인이 무엇인지를 분석을 통하여 조사하는 것이었다. 본 연구는 경기도 S시에 살고 있는 여성 120명으로부터 수집된 질문지를 분석하였다. 연구자료는 기술적 통계와 ANOVA, t 검정, 피어슨 상관계수를 사용하여 분석되 었다. 성인여성의 성공적 노화에 대한 인식요인 중 가장 중요한 것은 자아통제였으며 차순위는 동료와 같은 부부와 함께 사는 삶이었으며 삼순위는 성인자녀의 성공에 대한 만족이었으며 사순위는 자기-효율성이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 노후의 삶을 위한 교육프로그램은 성공적인 노화를 위한 4가지 요인들로 구성되어져야 함을 제기하고 있다.
