In this study, It is inquired that Storytelling-Related Intensive Program has the effect on the young children' s creativities, and the effect of its improvement is clarified specifically. Storytelling intensive program is selected the title that the young children take an interest in and experience through various activities.
Therefore, it is applied to the discussion activities, the follow-up story writing, the dramatic activities. The creativity on the young children are divided into linguistic creativity, originality on figure, physical creativity and comprehensive creativity and what influence their development is known.
As the study was considered the accessibility and the availability of the study, the subjects were chosen at the kindergarten in S city of the area inhabited the middle class. They carried out the storytelling intensive program having one of 12 works in children’ s stories per week during twelve weeks from June, 30 to August, 20 in 2008. The result of study showed the improvement of linguistic creativity and originality on figure. Especially, the effect of the fluency and the originality, the subitems of the creativity on young children, was obvious, but the effect of flexibility was not clear.
Also, the storytelling intensive program was effective in the improvement of the physical creativity. In particular, it had a more effect on the fluency and the originality, but two groups was not different on the effect of flexibility. It had an effect on the improvement of the comprehensive creativity.

본 연구에서는 동화 확장활동이 유아의 창의성 신장에 미치는 교육적 의미에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 동화확장활동으로는 문학작품 속에서 유아의 흥미를 끄는 주제를 선정하여 활동， 후속이야기 짓기， 극화활동을 통하여 유아 창의성 신장에 미치는 교육적 의미에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다.
본 연구를 위하여 연구의 접근성과 용이성을 고려하여 S 시 중류층 거주 지역에 소재한 S 어린이집에 다니는 중류층 가정의 일반 아동으로 만 5 서| 남자 3 명， 여자 3 명을 대상으로 하였다.
선정된 12 편의 동화를 매주 1 편씩 12 주 동안에 걸쳐 활동을 실시하였다. 동화를 들려 준 후 유아의 확산적 사고를 확장시키기 위하여 자신의 생각을 이야기하고 그 상황을 중심으로 신체로 자유롭게 표현하도록 하였다. 그리고 유아들의 후속 이야기 짓기활동을 통하여 확산적인 사고 및 창의성의 구성요소인 유창성과 독창성의 표현에 교육적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.
또한 교사의 지도방법과 역할， 유아에 대한 관심에 따라서 동화확장활동이 유아 창의성 신장과 관련된 많은 부분에 있어서 교육적 의미가 있음을 본 연구를 통하여 알 수 있었다.
