This paper attempts to present meaning analysis of adjective derivational suffixes in Jeonnam dialect as well as illustrative examples of adjective derivational suffixes that are combined according to word bases to which they correspond, leading to a classification of adjective derivational suffixes. The 2,279 adjectives in Jeonnam Dialect Dictionary provided the subject material for examining adjective derivational suffixes. In Chapter 2, In order to classify adjective derivational suffixes of Jeonnam dialect, I looked at the characteristics of each suffix in terms of its relationship with the word base. The generative process of adjectives in Jeonnam dialect can be presented as two types: One is word base + suffix, the other is [word base + word base formative suffix] + suffix. Based on this, I divided adjective derivational suffixes both according to word bases and according to suffixes and listed them as such, addressing their productivity. In Chapter 3, the results of this study are summarized and a conclusion is made, together with reflection on its own limits, leading to thoughts on opportunities for further studies.
