- The inheritance and development of national holiday is the key point to protect the national holiday intangible cultural heritage. Some desirable experiences could be summarized by analyzing the history of the inheritance and development of national holiday, and hence to provide a reference to the protection.This paper is a case study of “munao song” of Jingpo ethnic group in Longchuan County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. By analyzing the development of the “munao song” of Jingpo ethnic group, we could draw a conclusion that much attention must be paid to the important roles that ethnic community elites, governments, civil societies, etc. play in the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage protection.
