This study is to develop the conceptual learning organization model which gives emphasis on each of these differentiated strategies based on the established knowledge creating strategy, learning organization and which can intimately connect with common features to compensate the defects at the same time. In this research, we reconceptualize the learning organization and develop the conceptual learning organization model by comparing, analyzing and synthesizing common features and the differentiated strategies among Action Learning, Learning Organization, Knowledge Management, the Community of Practice(CoP). For this research, the constructed factors and related network for developing a conceptual model of integrated learning organization were induced and the model led by conceptual factors and the relations between factors based on expert interview in view of the 7 factors of the 7S model was modified and finally completed. This study has great significance on the effort applying the latest knowledge creating strategies critically and independently, and also will aid in tracing back the problems and limitations of knowledge creating strategies introduced in Korean companies and will find the effective application plan of knowledge creating strategies suitable for Korean companies.

본 연구는 기존의 지식창출 전략인 학습조직을 바탕으로, 그 밖의 지식창출 전략들의 차별화 전략을 강조하면서 동시에 한계나 문제점을 보완하기 위해 공통적인 특징을 유기적으로 연계할 수 있는 개념적 학습조직 모델을 개발하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 기업들은 가시적인 ‘업무성과’ 창출에만 집중한 나머지 기업의 핵심역량과 직결되는 경쟁력있는 지식을 창조·공유하는 통합적인 지식창출 전략에는 미진한 점을 보이고 있다. 이에 기업경쟁력 강화와 직결되는 학습조직 개념을 재개념화시켜 개인과 조직의 학습활동을 촉진하고, 기업에 필요한 핵심 지식을 창조·공유하는 실천학습, 지식경영, 실천공동체의 공통적인 특징과 차별화 전략을 종합적으로 비교․분석․통합함으로써 개념적 학습조직 모델을 개발한다. 이를 위해 Randers(1980)의 4단계 모델 개발 과정을 활용하여 통합적 학습조직의 개념적 모델에 필요한 구인과 관계망을 도출하고, McKinsey의 7S모형의 7가지 요인에 비추어 전문가 심층면담을 실시하여 개념적 구인과 구인 간 관계가 만든 통합적 학습조직의 개념모델을 수정하고 보완하여 최종 모델을 완성하였다. 이러한 노력은 최신 지식창출 전략을 비판적․독립적으로 적용하려는 노력도 중요하지만 지금까지 한국기업 현장에 도입된 지식창출 전략의 문제점과 한계를 되짚어 보고, 한국기업에 적합한 지식창출 전략의 효과적인 활용방안을 모색해보기 위한 연구노력이라고 볼 수 있다.
