The purpose of this study is through analyzing the operation present state of robot competitive exhibitions have contributed to activating and have increased in host frequency in the field of education to present the operation plans of robot competitive exhibitions for a future-oriented robot education.
Based on analysis of the above, suggested operation plans of robot competitive exhibition for a future-oriented robot education are as follows First, we have to adjust the holding period of robot competitive exhibitions intended for elementary school students to be held in the middle of the summer or winter vacation. Current robot competitive exhibitions are mainly held during the term.
Second, needed is magnifying a venue of robot competitive exhibitions not converging. There are gaps by regional groups in the frequency of robot competitive exhibition.
Third, a government agency should run competitions more professionally and systematically than existing others of him by establishing a professional robot education agency, and greater variety of private organizations should participate in than now.
Fourth, we have to develop various competition events correspond to competition purposes.
Fifth, an elevation of awarding dignity and a variety of awarding main agents are needed. We believe that operation plans of robot competitive exhibition for a future-oriented robot education suggested in this study will cause robot competitive exhibition where elementary students can participate to be born again more professionally and systematically.

이 연구는 로봇경진대회 운영 현황 분석을 통해 미래지향적 로봇교육을 위한 로봇경진대회 운영방안을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 로봇경진대회 운영 현황 분석을 위해지식경제부 통계자료를 바탕으로 2009년에 개최된 44개의 로봇경진대회 중에서 초등학생이 참가할 수 있는 21 개의 대회를 선정하였다. 미래지향적 로봇교육을 위한 로봇경진대회의 운영방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다
첫째, 로봇경진대회의 개최시기는 어느 한 시기에 집중되지 않도록 조정할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 로봇경진대회 개최지역을 어느 한 지역에 편중되지 않게 확대하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 정부기관은 전문적인 로봇교육기관을 신설하여 정부 주최대회들을 보다 전문적이고 체계적으로 대회를 운영할 수 있도록 하여야 하고l 지금보다 더 다양한 민간단체들이 참여할 수 있도록 유도해야한다. 넷째. 로봇경진대회의 목적에 부합하는 다양한 대회 종목 발굴이 필요하다. 다섯째 I 로봇경진대회 시상품격의 승격과 시상주체가 다양화 돼야 한다.
본 연구에서 제안하고 있는 로봇경진대회 운영방안은 보다 체계적이고 전문적인 로봇경진대회 운영을 위한 기초 자료를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
