The purpose of this study is to analysis task of rotating lifelong educators who are in charge of ‘Project for the school sharing with local community'. The following educators were selected as the interviewees for the purpose of this study : 5 lifelong educators working in local educational facilities, 3 lifelong education leaders in local educational facilities, 4 lifelong educations in charge of school teachers, participant who were attending the programs through ‘Project for the school sharing with local community' The method used for the analysis was through semi-standardized interview to qualitative research. As the conclusion of this study, the rotating lifelong educators in charge of ‘Project for the school sharing with local community' have accelerated the understanding of the lifelong education and have performed their tasks as mediators in connection between the organization the lifelong educators in charge of the school teachers and participants. Rotating Lifelong Educators in Charge of 'Project for the School Sharing with Local Community' have performed to input the participants as human resource for community and individual development. Also, the conclusion of this study showed to perform different tasks between lifelong educators working in general lifelong education center and rotating Lifelong Educators in Charge of 'Project for the School Sharing with Local Community'.

본 연구는 교육과학기술부·평생교육진흥원에서 주관하고 있는 ‘지역과 함께하는 학교’ 사업에 속해 있는 지역교육청의 순회평생교육사가 수행하고 있는 직무에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구의 궁극적인 목적은 학교라는 특수한 공간을 활용한 지역사회 평생교육을 위한 순회평생교육사의 직무를 알아보는 것이라 할 수 있다. 연구참여자는 순회평생교육사를 포함하여 지역교육청의 평생교육과 계장, 평생교육 담당 학교 교사, 학습자 등 총 네 부류이며, 연구 방법으로는 질적 연구 방법인 반표준화 면접(semi-standardized interview)을 통해 연구를 하였다. 연구 결과 ‘지역과 함께하는 학교’ 담당 순회평생교육사는 평생교육에 대한 이해를 촉진시키고, 기관과 관계자, 학습자와의 관계 조율 및 갈등해결을 하는 매개체로서의 직무를 수행하였다. 또한 지역사회의 평생학습을 위해 평생교육을 통한 학습자들을 지역사회의 인적 자원으로 환원하는 등의 상호발전을 위한 직무도 수행하였다. 이를 통해 타 평생학습기관 및 문화센터 등에서의 평생교육사와 ‘지역과 함께하는 학교’ 담당 순회평생교육사의 직무에 있어 상이한 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.
