- In 1995, Lobbying Disclosure Act was enacted in America. It regulated lobbying activities of the lobbyists. In that Act, the term "lobbying activities" means lobbying contacts and efforts in support of such contacts, including preparation and planning activities, research and other background work that is intended, at the time it is performed, for use in contacts, and coordination with the lobbying activities of others. And the Act regulate the lobbying activities.
In Europe, they also regulate the lobbying activities. And several nations have the various way to regulate the lobbyists and lobbying activities. And the Siim Kallas call for "The Need for a European Transparency Initiative". In that, the transparency can controll the lobbying activities.
This article will show the meaning of the green paper - European transparency initiative.
