This study was purposed to identify the relationship between empowerment perception of industry technology preservice teachers and leadership. Our analytical evidences and suggestions are as follows in that different kinds of leadership have a significant influence on individual empowerment and its perception as well as teachers' view of their professions. Firstly, industry technology preservice teachers' leadership patterns were identified in order of revolutionary leadership, servant leadership, and trade leadership. Secondly, industry technology preservice teachers' empowerment perception and servant leadership showed difference depending on each grade. It can be judged that the seniors had higher perception level about the reality of teaching profession than the students under juniors because of preparation for teaching practice and employment examination resulting in different empowerment perception and servant leadership. Thirdly, empowerment perception of industry/technology preservice teachers and different leadership showed comparative relationship each other. While the servant leadership and empowerment perception had the highest correlation, revolutionary leadership also whoed relatively high correlation with r=.704. As we have examined the relationship between industry technology preservice teachers' empowerment and different kinds of leadership, conditions to produce the empowered teachers at school and show different kinds of leadership in different contexts for the preservice teachers need to be prepared.

이 연구는 학교가 참된 인간적 만남의 장이 되고 학교시스템이 제도화된 관료적인 관리통제에서 올바른 교직관을 가지는 교사 배출을 위한 기초적 전략을 마련하고자, 공업 기술 예비교사의 임파워먼트 인식과 리더십과의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 유형별 리더십이 개인의 임파워먼트에 지대한 영향을 미치는 것과 교사의 교직관에도 영향을 준다는 측면에서 이를 실증적으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 공업 기술 예비교사의 리더십 유형은 변혁적 리더십, 서번트 리더십, 거래적 리더십 순으로 나타났다. 또한 공업 기술 예비교사의 임파워먼트 인식과 서번트 리더십은 학년별 유의한 수준을 보였다. 이는 4학년이 교생 실습과 임용고시 준비로 교직생활의 실제에 대한 인지정도가 3학년이하 대학생보다 높음으로 인해 임파워먼트 인식과 서번트 리더십이 차이가 나타난 것으로 판단된다. 공업 기술 예비교사의 임파워먼트 인식과 유형별 리더십은 정적관계로 서번트 리더십과 임파워먼트 인식이 가장 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 홀리스틱 교육이 교사의 가장 깊은 곳에서부터 책임감이 우러나와야 하고 교사 스스로 다른 형태의 정신적 자각의 체험이 있어야 한다는 측면에서 예비 교사의 임파워먼트와 리더십 배양은 필수라고 할 수 있다.
