The object of this to inspect how much the same grade cooperation charge has on the intrinsic motivation and learning attitude of elementary school children.
The research problems of this study were as follows.
First, What are the effects of a same grade cooperation charge that influence on the intrinsic motivation to elementary school children?
Second, What are the effects of a same grade cooperation charge that influence on the learning attitude to elementary school children?
The subjects of this study were six classes of the third grade elementary school children at A elementary school and N elementary school in pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do and the subjects were divided into two groups - and experimental group(N=89, M=45, F=44), and a control group(N=84, M=43, F=41).
The experimental design of this study is pre- and post-test control group design. The same grade cooperation charge was only applied to the experimental group and it was carried out during 10 weeks.
In order to verify the effect of the experiment the average differences between the experimental group and the control group were analyzed by analysis of covariance of SPSSWIN(Version 12.0).
The results obtained by this research were as follows.
First, The experimental group which was applied for the same grade cooperation charge, showed significant improvement in total scores of the intrinsic motivation and sub factors, that was, in the area of curiosity and interest, of voluntary participation, of self-efficacy, of expectations about result than the control group.
Second, The experimental group which was applied for the same grade cooperation charge, showed significant improvement in total scores of the learning attitude and sub factors, that was act attitude, mental attitude, than the control group.
The results showed that the same grade cooperation charge gave an affirmative influence on the intrinsic motivation and the learning attitude of the elementary school children.

한국어

우리나라 초등학교에서의 ‘1학급 1담임제’ 라고 하는 제도는 어떤 특정의 한 교사에게 전적 으로 학급 지도를 맡기는 체제이다. 한 학년의 교육과정을 지도하는 교사가 모든 교과의 모든 영역을 잘 지도하기란 결코 쉬운 일이 아니다. 즉, 학급을 담임하여 모든 교과를 가르치는 교사는 자기 특기에 치우치는 지도를 중점적으로 하는 경향을 보이며 자신이 없는 교과를 소홀하게 다루기 쉽다. 교사는 아동의 바람직한 성장 발달을 돕기 위하여 아동 개개인의 여러 가지 특성을 잘 이해해야 하며 개성과 개인차를 바탕으로 한 교육 수요자 중심의 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 것을 생각해 볼 때, 이제 전통적인 ‘학급 담임제’는 검토되어야 할 시기에 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 동학년 협력담임제 운영을 통한 교과교육의 운영 개선과 수업의 질 향상을 통하여 아동의 내적동기 유발과 학습태도 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 연구의 대상은 초등학교 3학년 학생 173명으로 하였다. 실험집단은 10주간 동학년 협력담임제를 실시하고, 내적동기와 학습태도 검사지에 대한 응답 결과의 평균 결과를 이용하여 SPSSWIN(Version 12.0) 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 검증하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동학년 협력담임제의 실시는 아동의 내적동기를 유발시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 동학년 협력담임제의 실시는 아동의 학습태도를 향상시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 동학년 협력담임제가 아동의 내적동기 유발 및 학습태도 향상에 효과적인 사실을 시사하는 것으로 볼 수 있다.
