Today, foreign currency income is becoming an important element in a many countries.　Therefore, various nations actively participate to elevate and promote inbound. In the case of Korea, the governmental bureau, Korea National Tourism Organization this leads the tourism inbound industry. In addition, a heavily tourist country, Japan and other countries such as China and Taiwan have now started to focus to promote inbound. This essay consists of studying the present condition of Korea's international tourism related to international air transportation business, accommodation business, and tourist business. According to the studies, although the international air transportation business and accommodation business are on a steady economic status due to domestic consumptions, tourist business is in an economic decline. This situation will further deteriorate, and thus, is extremely important to create a strategic plan to make a breakthrough for a productive profit.

今日、外国人観光客がもたらす外貨収入は、多くの国にとってその国の国際収支上きわめて重要な要素となっている。それ故、各国とも積極的にインバウンド観光の振興に取り組んでいるのである。韓国においても政府観光局の（韓国観光公社）が主導して、インバウンド観光の主力市場である日本をはじめ中国、アメリカ、台湾などを中心にインバウンド観光振興のため力を注いでいる。本稿は、韓国の国際観光の現状を韓国経済とのかかわりの中で概観した上で、国際観光に関連する産業である航空業、宿泊業、旅行業、について現状分析を行い、浮かび上がってきた課題について整理したものである。　分析結果で明らかになったのは、航空業、宿泊業は韓国の国内利用客の増加などいくつかの用件が満たされ、良好な経営状態を維持しているが、インバウンド旅行業は外来観光客が伸び悩む中、低収益による「経営悪化」でかつてない苦境に立たされている状態である。このような状況を踏まえるとインバウンド旅行業界の経営が悪化し、低収益構造が慢性化した原因を明らかにすることが極めて重要であり、かつそれを打開する方向性を示すことが喫緊の課題であると筆者は考える。
