This paper explores the Significance of the Socrates' ‘Daimonion’, then interprets it with moral education. From his childhood until moment of dead, Socrates listened voice of Daimonion which is to the inside of oneself. Because he always believes firmly that it is most with wisdom, whenever he decides and acts according to Daimonion. The Daimonion is something godlike and divine, it is what does not do, operates with the signal of the warning which is negative opposes. When investigation tries the Socrates' Daimonion moral education and the interpretation of three kind is possible. The first about Socrates' divine nature and moral free will is an interpretation. Socrates devoted in God and he lived the life which serves to the God, so he thought that is wisest. Namely, he lived continually a examined life with moral free will on the belief in God. The second about rational reason and empirical reason is an interpretation. They are two kind features which are contrary about the reason which Socrates shows. The third, it is to interpret Daimonion as voice of conscience.

본 논문은 소크라테스의 ‘다이모니온(Daimonion)’에 관한 의미를 찾아보고, 도덕교육적으로 해석한 것이다. 소크라테스는 어릴 때부터 죽음의 순간까지 자신의 내면에 있는 다이모니온의 음성에 귀를 기울였다. 왜냐하면 그는 다이모니온에 따라서 결정하고 행동할 때마다 언제나 가장 지혜로운 결정을 하게 된다고 확신하기 때문이다. 다이모니온은 신과 같은 신성한 것으로, 그것은 무엇인가를 하지 말라고 반대하는 부정적인 경고의 신호로 작용한다. 소크라테스의 다이모니온을 도덕교육적으로 검토해보면 세 가지의 해석이 가능하다. 첫째는 소크라테스의 신성과 도덕적 자유의지에 관한 해석이다. 소크라테스는 신에 헌신하고 봉사하는 삶을 살았고, 이것이 가장 지혜롭다고 생각하였다. 즉, 그는 신에 대한 믿음 위에서 도덕적인 자유의지를 가지고 끊임없이 검토하는 삶을 살았다. 둘째는 합리적인 이성과 경험적인 이성에 관한 해석이다. 이것은 소크라테스가 보여주는 이성에 대한 상반된 두 가지의 모습이다. 셋째는 다이모니온을 양심의 소리로 해석하는 것이다.
