The purpose of the study was to offer basic data for more effective dance leadership by making a close inquiry into an effect of dance leader"fs leadership type on dance absorption and dance emotion of students. The study selected out of students majoring in dance who were in high schools and universities located in Seoul or Gyeonggido in October,2009 with convenience sampling method and the total 289 copies were applied. The study used the total 48 questions by amending/supplementing surveys applied to the researches by Ahn In-Joon (2007), Jung Yong-Gak (1997), Yoo Jin and Oh Bo-Sun (2007), corresponding to the purpose of the study, and also used Likert 5-point measure. To analyze the collected data, the study carried out frequency
analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The concrete results of the study were as follows. First, as much as charisma and intelligible stimulus out of subordinate factors of reforming leadership were high and as much as conditional compensation out of subordinate factors of trading leadership was high, it had an affirmative effect on dance absorption. Second, as much as charisma out of subordinate factors of reforming leadership and as much as conditional compensation out of subordinate factors of trading leadership was high, it had an affirmative effect on dance emotion. Third, as the result of analyzing an effect of dance leader's leadership type and dance emotion on dance absorption, reforming leadership and dance emotion had a significant effect on dance absorption.

본 연구는 무용 지도자의 리더십 유형이 학생들의 무용몰입과 무용정서에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 2009년 10월 서울․경기에 위치한 고등학교, 대학교에 재학 중인 무용 전공자들을 대상으로 편의 표본 추출법을 이용하여 선정하였으며, 최종분석에는 총289명의 자료가 사용되었다. 본 연구에서는 리더십, 무용몰입, 무용정서를 측정하기 위한 설문지를 본 연구의 목적에 부합하도록 수정․보완 절차를 걸쳤으며, 총 48 문항으로 Likert 5점 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여, 빈도 분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이에 대한 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변혁적 리더십의 하위요인 중 카리스마와 지적자극, 거래적 리더십의 하위요인 중 조건적 보상이 무용몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 변혁적 리더십의 하위요인 중 카리스마, 거래적 리더십의 하위요인 중 조건적 보상이 무용정서에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 무용 지도자의 리더십 유형과 무용정서가 무용몰입에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 변혁적 리더십과 무용정서 모두가 무용몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
