In post modern times, society is faster than modern times. the speed of social change is very fast. Nevertheless HYO(filial piety) has variety aspect to exist. So, it is wrong to has the traditional thinking of HYO criterion. Because Hyo is made by social interaction between social environments, study of Hyo has to consider politics, economics, education, culture etc. The characteristics of Post modern society are democratic society, society of information and knowledge, education based on constructivist education, diversity, post authoritarian etc... These characteristics make difference of Hyo ethics in Choson Period. In thesis, intend to study on Hyo and enlargement pocess of parents and children relationship based on auto organizatio approach. Auto organization perspective has characteristics that organize self orders or self structures. Auto organization operates in order to exist the system. Hyo and enlargement pocess of parents and children relationship has three relations. first, relation of biological parents and children, second, relation of parents in law and children, third, relation of three generation. Study of Hyo and enlargement pocess of parents and children relationship would investigate to be long-lasting in HYO.

현대사회는 매우 급변하는 가운데서도 효의 존속을 위한 여러 동향들이 일어나고 있음을 알 수 있다. 효는 윤리덕목으로 그 사회를 반영하는 사회환경과의 상호작용을 통하여 이루어지기 때문에 시대에 따른 정치, 경제, 교육, 문화 등에 관한 연구가 함께 이루어져야 한다. 민주화된 사회, 지식정보화 사회로 인한 사회구조의 변화, 구성주의를 기반으로 한 교육, 다양성과 탈권위주의를 강조하는 문화 등은 흔히 전통사회에서의 효의 양상과 많은 차이를 나타내고 있다. 이에 본 글에서는 사회환경과의 상호작용을 영위하고 체계스스로의 능력으로 스스로의 질서나 구조를 형성해가는 자기조직화의 관점에서 현대사회의 효를 진단해보고자 한다. 이러한 진단을 통하여 현대사회 부모자녀관계 확대과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 부모자녀관계를 친부모와의 관계, 배우자부모와의 관계로의 확대, 자녀출산을 통한 3세대의 부모자녀관계로의 확대과정으로 나누어 살펴보고 이를 통한 효윤리 성격의 변화과정을 살펴봄으로 현대사회에서의 효윤리의 영속적 성격을 규명하고자 한다.
