- We examine the factors which determines the control exercised by Korean International Joint Ventures over their Chinese Subsidiaries. And we tested the relationships between these factors and the performance of Chinese subsidiaries. Our findings show the control over subsidiaries tends to tighten their production and product policy when the parent as its manager operates Chinese subsidiaries. In addition, it is observed that the parent's control of marketing/personnel/ production management is positively influenced by the performance of Chinese subsidiaries.
