There are three kinds of Seoul Block Print : 2 vols, "newly engraved at 冶洞 Yadong in the year 戊午(1798); 3 vols, "newly engraved at 冶洞 Yadong in the year 戊午(1798); 1 vol, "newly engraved at 由洞 Yudong in the year 乙巳(1785). The blocks of 2 vols is converted into the blocks of 3 vols.
The blocks of 2 vols differs from the blocks of 1 vol in many respects. The blocks of 2 vols is not converted into the blocks of 1 vol, and also the blocks of 1 vol is not converted into the blocks of 2 vols.
There will be one more blocks of 1 vol, sixty odd leaves probably. It is newly engraved on the blocks of 1 vol at Yudong, tenth month, 1785. And so it is newly engraved on the blocks of 2 vols at Yadong, from nineth month to tenth month, 1798. And some day the blocks of 2 vols is converted into the blocks of 3 vols.

경판방각소설 숙향전 자료가 새로 나타났다. 현전하던 자료(<하30장본>, <상20장본>, <중21장본>, <하23장본>)에 근거하여 이미 그 존재가 추정되었던 자료(<상33장본>)를 포함하여, 전혀 예상하지 못했던 자료(<단44장본>)까지 나타났다.
숙향전 <상33장본>은 “戊午九月冶洞新板”이라는 간기를 가지고 있으며, <단44장본>은 “乙巳十月 由洞新板”이라는 간기를 가지고 있다. 이들 행문을 중심으로 판본 사이의 관계를 살핀 결과 <상33장본> <하30장본>으로 된 <상하63장본>에서 <단44장본>이 나온 것이 아니라는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 <단44장본>에서 <상하63장본>이 나온 것도 아니라는 것을 확인하였다. 그 결과 <상하63장본>과 <단44장본>에 선행하는 판본을 공동모본으로 설정하는 것이 필요하다는 결론에 이르렀다.
또한 <단44장본>에 나타나는 을사년은 1785년으로, <상33장본>과 <하30장본>에 나타나는 무오년은 1798년으로 비정하였다.
