In modern society, the obesity-inducing environment; decrease of physical activity owing to the advance of scientific civilization and change of eating habits because of elevation of an economic standard has been causing much increase in the number of the obese and various diseases worldwide.
This study is attempted to offer basic materials for developing an effective abdominal obesity management with high frequency and meridian massage device.
The subjects of the study were 6 female college students in their 20s divided into an experimental groupⅠ(meridian massage treated group) of 3 women and experimental groupⅡ(high frequency and meridian massage treated group) of 3 women. The experiment was conducted for 40 minutes of abdominal obesity 3 times a week for 4 weeks.
As a result of the study, received high frequency and meridian massage treated group's body change of weight, BMI, WHR, waist girth is more reduced than meridian massage treated group's of that.
As seen from the results, the effective value of abdominal obesity management is meaningful. In conclusion, meridian massage management accompanied with high frequency is more efficient obesity management method than meridian massage management.
