This paper deals with the authenticity of Hwarangsegi manuscript. The main method of verification is to check the period of vocabularies' coming into existence through the Scripta Sinica(漢籍電子文獻). If Hwarangsegi manuscript were the original copy of Hwarangsegi written by Kim Daemun, the vocabularies used in the Hwarangsegi manuscript must have come into being before early Tang period. Otherwise if the vocabularies coming into being after Tang period were found, Hwarangsegi manuscript could not be the authentic writing. But this work has some assumptions. First, the Chinese character words used in nowadays has been created not at a time but gradually in time. Secondly, if the words used by us in nowadays were found in the Chinese documents and Hwarangsegi manuscript, we could consider the words to be created in China. Thirdly, the Chinese documents examined reflect the usage of certain words adequately. Last, the time of certain words' first usage in Chinese documents can be regarded the time of words' coming into existence. Under these conditions, this paper examines that when the words used in Hwarangsegi manuscript came into being. As a result, the majority of optional words are identified to come into being before Tang period, especially in Han(漢) or Sanguo(三國). But certain words turn out to come into being after Tang period. 入望, 秘訣, 征袍, 野菜, 再從兄弟, 團欒, 邸宅, 典型, 祝福, 遊街, 氣像, 穎異, 父系, 母系, 消夜, 彩錢, 享樂, 漁色, 愼色, 巡治, 佛門, 舊習, 崇 佛 were the typical words. These words did not be used until Song(宋) period. Then Hwarangsegi manuscript can not be the authentic copy of original Hwarangsegi.
