The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of classes that use u-learning content on streamlets on the environmental literacy of elementary school students. To that end, a class of 4th grade students of ○○ Elementary School in Osan-si, Gyeoggi-do was used as a subject group, and the one-group pretest-posttest design was applied. The u-learning content for environmental education used in this study was the content on streamlets called 'Trip to Streamlets with Bangwoori' developed by Woo-Seok Seo (2009).
The findings of this study are as follows:
First, environmental education that uses u-learning content on streamlets has a positive impact on promotion, the functional area and the behavioral area of the environmental literacy of elementary school students. Second, environmental education that uses u-learning content on streamlets has a positive impact on the environmental sensitivity and environmental control point, among the sub-elements of the environmental literacy of elementary school students: environmental sensitivity, environmental attitude, and environmental control point.
In order to make use of the findings of this study and conduct follow-up research projects, the following is recommended: First, in this study, experiments were conducted by the one-group pretest-posttest design. In order to validate the effect of u-learning content on the environmental literacy of elementary school students in a more structured manner, an experiment that has a control group should be conducted. Second, as this study has validated the fact that environmental education u-learning content has positive effect on the promotion of the environmental literacy of elementary school students, subsequent studies should be conducted to develop a variety of environmental education u-learning content and conduct environmental education in a way that allows for more learning opportunities to promote the environmental literacy of schoolchildren. Third, when social facilities, which help overcome challenges such as shortages of expensive personal terminals and the financial difficulties in obtaining Internet access on-site, are furnished, subsequent studies to further validate the effect should be conducted.

이 연구의 목적은 실개천 u-learning 콘텐츠를 활용한 수업이 초등학생의 환경소양에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 오산시 소재 ○○초등학교 4학년 1개 학급 학생을 실험집단으로 설정하여 단일집단 사전사후 실험 설계를 적용하였다.
이 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 실개천에 관련된 u-learning 콘텐츠를 활용한 환경교육이 초등학생의 환경소양의 지식, 기능영역, 행동영역 함양에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 실개천에 관련된 u-learning 콘텐츠를 활용한 환경교육은 초등학생의 환경소양의 정서영역의 하위요소인 환경감수성, 환경태도, 환경조절점 중 에 환경감수성과 환경조절점에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론에 기초하여 다음과 같은 제언을 한다. 첫째, 이 연구는 단일집단 사전 사후 실험설계로 실험을 실시하였으므로 비교집단을 설정한 실험연구가 필요하다. 둘째, 학생들의 환경소양을 함양할 수 있는 보다 많은 학습 기회를 제공하기 위하여 다양한 환경교육 u-learning 콘텐츠를 개발하여야 할 것이다. 셋째, 고가의 개인 단말기의 부족과 현장에서의 인터넷 접속의 경제적 어려움의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 사회적 시설이 충족될 때, 효과를 검증할 수 있는 후속연구가 이어져야 할 것이다.
