Problem of one of school moral education is that the target is not coming true properly despite target of moral education exists clearly. By such problem of moral education, new seeking about teaching method of moral education that realize target of moral education becomes request. Achievement method of Buddhism finds existence meaning of oneself self and this can help that is fulfiled. Therefore, research that see allowed purpose introducing Buddhism moral principle in school education and graft together achievement method of Buddhism in moral education.
And in 2007 reformed national curriculum, passing over limit of morality human relations as introducing 'field Ⅳ' newly of 'Relation with nature/transcendental being' such as nature, religion, etc., subjects of aloof dimension handle can so that establish. Therefore, research that see can expect that substance of moral education can consist as that graft together achievement method of Buddhism in moral education through way that can embody 'field Ⅳ' in moral education taking advantage of achievement method of Buddhism.

학교 도덕교육의 문제 중 하나는 도덕교육의 목표가 뚜렷하게 존재함에도 불구하고 그 목표가 제대로 실현되지 못하고 있다는 데에 있다. 도덕교육의 이와 같은 문제로 인해 도덕교육의 목표를 실현하는 도덕교육의 지도 방법에 대한 새로운 모색이 요구가 된다. 불교의 수행법은 스스로 자아의 존재 의미를 발견하고 이를 실현시키는데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 불교 윤리를 학교 교육에 도입하여 불교의 수행법을 도덕교육에 접목하는 것에 목적을 두었다.
그리고 2007 개정 교육과정에서는 ‘자연/초월적인 존재와의 관계’라는 ‘영역Ⅳ’를 새롭게 도입함으로서 인간관계적 도덕의 한계를 넘어 자연, 종교 등과 같은 초월적인 차원의 주제들도 다룰 수 있도록 설정하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 불교의 수행법을 활용하여 ‘영역Ⅳ’를 도덕교육에서 구현할 수 있는 방안제시를 통해 불교의 수행법을 도덕교육에 접목해봄으로서 도덕교육의 내실화가 이루어질 수 있기를 기대해 볼 수 있겠다.
