The purpose of this study is to suggest the moral educational assessment methods which is appropriate for the 2007 Revised National Curriculum. Ethics-based-Approach to the problems of morality and value is emphasized as a moral educational methodology in the 2007 Revised National Curriculum. Therefore the development of moral thinking and decision-making through moral inquiry and the process of moral inquiry itself are come to be very important in the moral education. Assessment methods on the basis of moral inquiry utilizing the Community of Inquiry activity focused on debate and essay are to be suggested. Methods to enhance the fairness and reliability in the moral educational assessment are also suggested.

본 논문의 연구 목적은, 2007년 개정 교육과정에 알맞은 중등학교에서의 도덕과의 평가방법을 제시하는 데 있다. 개정 교육과정은 도덕과의 방법론으로 도덕·가치문제에 대하여 윤리학적 접근을 방법론으로 제시하고 있다. 이에 따라 도덕과에서 도덕적 탐구를 통한 도덕적 사고력과 판단능력의 발달이 더 강조되게 되었다. 그리고 도덕적 탐구활동에 대한 평가도 매우 중요하게 되었다. 개정 도덕과 교육과정의 내용에 맞는 다양한 평가방법을 논의함과 함께 토론과 논술을 중심으로 한 탐구공동체 활동의 평가방법을 중심으로 도덕적 탐구활동에 대한 평가방안을 제시하였다. 그리고 도덕과 평가에서 공정성과 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위한 방안도 제시하였다.
