St. Francisco Choi Gyeong-hwan and his wife Lee Syeong-rye, servant of God succeeded to the devoutness of their father Choi In-joo based on the fellowship for their neighbors and on the principle of equality. And they gave special alms to the poor and proved their firm believes acquired by sincere praying and spiritual reading. Fr. Choi Yang-eop and his brothers were faithful to their lives of sharing materials and spirituality with their neighbors, and took care of the week and poor, and then they strived for the public salvation. In 1925, due to the beatification of 79 Korean martyrs died from 1839 persecution, the Catholic church authority excavated the tomb of St. Francisco Choi and to got in the remains, by the help of Song Agatha and her nephew Choi Sang-jong in 1929. And the nephew searched and wrote the family history of Catholic belief, then the documents such as "The record of Song Agatha", "The record of Choi Basilius", "The record of Fr. Choi Thomas" arranged to prepared the foundation of reverencing the devout ancestors. And for the sake of Canonization 103 Korean martyrs in 1984, the discendants of St. Choi Francisco began to take part in the developing the martyr's land like as Baron shrine, Batti shrine, Cheong-Yang shrine, Surisan shrine, and have been the memorial day of reverencing the devout ancestors every year. On the day all the family of St. Choi Francisco have a meeting at the ancestral burial ground in Poong-soo-won, and go to Catholic mass managed by the discendant catholic priests. Among the discendants, 12 priests, 8 nuns and a monks in catholic church devoted themselves to children education and social welfare services managed by catholic church, and then proved the model of Christian. The model comes from "the martyrdom of sweat" acted by Fr. Choi Thomas, who succeeded to his parents' minds of human rights based on the primary concern for the week and on the protect of them.

1839년 기해박해 때 순교한 최경환 프란치스코 성인과 하느님의 종 이성례 마리아 부부는 부친 최인주의 이웃사랑과 평등주의에 기반한 천주신앙을 계승하여 자기 희생과 절제에 바탕을 둔 남다른 자선을 베풀었고, 열심한 기도와 영적독서로 얻게 된 하느님께 대한 굳건한 신앙심을 순교로써 입증하였다. 이러한 부모의 감화를 받은 최양업 신부와 그의 형제들은 물질적, 영적인 나눔의 생활에 충실했고 사회적 약자를 돌보고 그들과 함께 구원의 길로 나아가는 데에 헌신하였다. 1925년 기해병오박해 순교자 79위의 시복(諡福)을 계기로 1929년 6월 송 아가타의 고증으로 복자 최경환의 분묘가 교회 당국에 의해 확인되고 1930년 5월 발굴되어 유해가 이장되었고,〈송 아가다 이력서〉,〈최 신부 이력서〉,〈최 바시리오 이력서〉등 가문의 신앙 내력을 정리하는 작업들이 진행되어 신앙 선조들의 순교신심에 대한 현양작업의 기초를 마련하였다. 또한 1984년 103위 한국 복자의 시성식(諡聖式)을 계기로 해서는 배론, 배티, 청양, 수리산 등 최경환 성인 및 최양업 신부와 관련된 각종 성지 개발 사업에 후손들이 적극 참여하기 시작하고, 해마다 후손들이 풍수원 선산에 모여 신앙 선조들에 대한 추모미사를 봉헌하는 등 본격적인 현양 사업에 참여해왔다. 특히 성인의 후손 가운데에서도 최양업 신부를 비롯하여 2009년 현재 모두 12명에 달하는 사제들과 9명의 수도자들은 아동교육, 사회복지 분야 사업 등에서 헌신적으로 교회 활동을 수행함으로써, 최양업 신부가 정결과 희생의 삶으로 일구어낸 ‘땀의 순교’와 최경환 성인 및 이성례 마리아가 보여준 약자에 대한 우선적 관심과 보호라는 인권의식(人權意識)을 몸소 실천하는 신앙의 모범을 보여주고 있다.
