The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of leisure motivation factor of Seniors, who uses senior leisure & welfare center (senior center, senior class and senior welfare hall), on the satisfaction of leisure, focusing on the region of Seongnam City, and prepare the appropriate alternative of senior leisure welfare policy. The study classified motivation factor of senior leisure(intrinsic, self-determined extrinsic, nonself-determined extrinsic and motiveless) and satisfaction factor(emotional, physical and social) on the basis of theoretical consideration. As an analysis result, first, it was found that seniors, who participates in senior class and senior welfare hall, was frequently affected by intrinsic and self-determined extrinsic motivation factor,
including the reason of 'interest' and nonself-determined extrinsic motivation factor including the reason of 'recommendation of family member'. However, Seniors, who participates in senior center, was usually affected by motiveless factor of leisure activity. Second, it was found that intrinsic motivation factor and self-determined extrinsic motivation factor gave positive effects on emotional, social and physical satisfaction degree of leisure activity. Third, it was found that nonself-determined extrinsic motivation factor gave a positive effect on social satisfaction degree. Fourth, it was found that the motiveless factor including the reason of 'no work to do' gave a negative effect on emotional and physical satisfaction degree but it gave a positive effect on social satisfaction degree. Fifth, it was found that the satisfaction degree of leisure activity was high in senior class, senior welfare hall and senior center in order. Therefore, it is
necessary to analyze the discriminated motivation factor of leisure activity depending on group type continuously to improve the satisfaction degree of leisure activity.

본 연구의 목적은 성남시지역을 중심으로 노인여가복지시설(경로당, 노인교실, 노인복지회관)을 이용하는 노인들의 여가동기요인이 여가만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하여바람직한 노인여가복지정책의 대안을 마련하는데 있다. 본 연구는 이론적 고찰을 토대로 노인의 여가활동의 동기요인(내재적, 자기 결정적 외재적, 비자기결정적 외재적, 무동기)과 만족요인(정서적, 신체적, 사회적)으로 구분하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 노인교실과 노인복지회관에 참여하는 노인일수록 여가활동의 ‘재미있기 때문에’등의 내재적 및 자기 결정적 외재적 동기요인과 ‘가족의 권유 때문에’등의 비자기결정적 외재적 동기요인에 영향을 많이 받는 반면에 경로당에 참여하는 노인일수록 여가활동의 무동기요인에 영향을 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내재적 동기 및 자기 결정적 외재적 동기요인이 여가활동의 정서적, 사회적, 신체적 만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 비자기결정적 외재적 동기요인은 사회적 만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, ‘마땅히 할 일이 없기 때문에’ 등의 무동기요인은 정서적, 신체적 만족도에 부정적 영향을 미치는 반면에 사회적 만족도에는 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 여가활동의 만족도는 노인교실, 노인복지회관, 경로당 순으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 집단유형에 따른 차별적인 여가활동의 동기요인을 지속적으로 분석하여 이를 여가활동의 만족도를 증가시킬 수 있도록 해야 한다.
