The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of parenting behavior and parent-adolescent communication on adolescents’ attachment with parents and peers. The data was collected from 399 middle school students living in Incheon area. Measurement scales include the attachment with parents and peers scale, parenting behavior inventory, and parent-adolescent communication scale. Results showed that adolescents' attachment with father showed a significant difference by adolescent's scholastic achievement, and mother's job, attachment with mother showed differences by adolescent's scholastic achievement, father's education, and income, and attachment with peers has significant difference by adolescent's gender, father's education and mother's education. Correlation analysis indicated that parenting behavior and adolescent's attachment with father, mother and peers, all of the attachments showed positive correlation with parent's autonomous attitude and receptive attitude, and negative correlation with regulatory attitude. And parent-adolescent open communication was positive correlated to adolescent's attachment with father, mother and peers. As well, parent-adolescent problematic communication was negatively correlated to all adolescent's attachment. It was also found that father's autonomous attitude, problematic communication and income were significant predictors of attachment with father, mother's autonomous attitude, problematic communication, regulatory attitude and receptive attitude were significant predictors of the attachment with mother, and adolescent's gender was predictor of the attachment with peers.

본 연구는 청소년을 대상으로 부모의 양육행동과 부모-자녀 간 의사소통이 청소년의 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래 애착에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 연구로, 연구 대상은 중학교 1, 2, 3학년 학생 399명이다. 이들을 대상으로 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래 애착의 정도와 부모의 양육행동, 부모-자녀 간 의사소통을 측정했는데 그 결과 첫째, 부 애착은 학업성적이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단보다 부 애착의 하위변인인 상호교류와 상호신뢰가 더 높았고, 어머니가 직업을 갖지 않은 전업주부의 자녀가 부 애착 총점과 애착의 하위변인인 상호신뢰가 더 높았다. 모 애착은 학업성적이 높은 집단의 청소년이 낮은 집단의 청소년보다 어머니와의 상호신뢰가 더 높은 것으로 나타났고, 아버지의 학력이 낮은 집단의 자녀가 어머니와의 친애가 더 높게 나타났으며, 월수입이 가장 높은 집단 보다 가장 낮은 집단의 청소년이 어머니와의 친애가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또래 애착에서는 여학생이 남학생보다 또래애착이 더 높은 것으로 나타났고, 아버지의 학력이 높은 집단의 자녀와 어머니의 학력이 높은 집단의 자녀가 또래간의 상호신뢰가 더 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 양육행동과 청소년의 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래 애착과의 관계를 살펴 본 결과 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래애착 모두 부모의 자율적 태도, 수용적 태도와는 정적인 상관을 나타냈고, 통제적 태도와는 부적인 상관을 나타냈다. 셋째, 부모-자녀 간 의사소통과 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래 애착과의 관계를 살펴 본 결과, 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래 애착 모두 부모의 개방형 의사소통과는 정적인 상관을 나타냈고, 문제형 의사소통과는 부적인 상관을 나타났다. 넷째, 부 애착, 모 애착, 또래 애착에 대한 관련변인의 영향력을 살펴 본 결과, 부 애착에는 부 자율적 태도, 부 문제형 의사소통, 월수입의 순으로 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 모 애착에는 모 자율적 태도, 모 문제형 의사소통, 모 통제적 태도, 모 수용적 태도의 순으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 또래 애착에는 청소년의 성별만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
