This paper shows tasks for moral education to establish self-identity of children in multicultural families. In the flow of rapid increasing numbers of multi-cultural families, it is very urgent to make successful adaptation for children and take them to form a healthy self-identity. Multicultural children experiencing family difficulties that the differences in skin color, language difficulties, cultural differences and difficulties caused by social prejudice, family difficulties were due to the dissolution. These difficulties caused by their lack of representation of social development and the degradation to form low-pride, and brings difficulties to the formation of a healthy self-identity. Specifically, elementary school students in 2010 will dramatically increase the number of multi-family and child, considering that for the successful school programs for the healthy development of identity formation is a more pressing need. With self-identity formation of moral character, especially for the purpose of the moral role of moral education can be important than ever. Therefore, this paper is to establish the multi-family for the child's moral self-identity, the challenges of moral education as a community - try to develop the sentiment of the program. To overcome the difficulties of multicultural families, there should be well prepared the program for self-expression, Pro-Social Programs, self-improvement programs, and self-respect. Through these procedures, multi-family children can get some solution to overcome the difficulties as well as make to form self-identity more effectively.

본 논문은 다문화 가정 아동이 급격하게 늘어나고 있는 상황에서 이들의 성공적인 적응과 건강한 자아정체성 형성을 지원하고 향후의 심각한 부적응 행동을 최소화하기 위한 효과적인 프로그램의 개발이 시급한 상황이다. 다문화가정 자녀들이 겪고 있는 어려움들은 피부색의 차이, 언어소통의 어려움, 문화적 차이와 사회적 편견으로 인한 어려움, 가정해체로 인한 어려움 등이다. 이러한 어려움들은 자기표현의 부족으로 인한 사회성 발달이 저하되고 낮은 자존감을 형성하는 등 건강한 자아정체성 형성에 어려움을 가져온다. 특히, 2010년부터 초등학교에 진학하게 될 다문화 가정 아동의 수가 급격히 증가할 것임을 감안할 때 이들의 성공적 학교생활을 위한 건강한 자아정체감 형성을 위한 프로그램의 개발이 더욱 절실하게 필요한 상황이다. 특히 도덕적 자아정체성을 갖춘 도덕적 인격형성을 목적으로 하는 도덕교육의 역할은 그 어느 때보다 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다문화가정 자녀의 자아정체성 확립을 위한 도덕교육의 과제로써 사회-정서 프로그램을 개발하고자 시도하였다. 다문화가정자녀의 어려움을 극복할 수 있는 자기표현프로그램, 친사회성 프로그램, 자아존중감 향상 프로그램 등을 개발하였다. 그 결과 다문화가정 자녀들이 겪고 있는 어려움을 다소 경감시킬 수 있을 뿐 아니라 자아정체성 형성에 효과가 있을 것이다.
