- Upon the increasing number of highly-educated despite of low utilization at the high management level female workers in IT industry, this study empirically investigates to identify the factors influencing employability of female employees in IT industry and to provide a human resource management guideline for effective utilization of female IT employees. Employability is defined as ability to find, maintain and find a job. The study hypothesized four independent variables that are proven to affect employability from the previous human resource management research. Subjects of the survey are those working in IT related companies, and the results of the comparative analysis between male and female IT workers show that there is no difference in employability between women and men in terms of it’s relation to career identity, personal adaptability, and human capital, but social capital turned out to have difference.
