Police were not able to respond to the various kinds of security demands and crime problems. Therefore, the private security industry in Korea has been growing continuously in size. However it is no less important to grow in quality, for this, it needs training of the security guards. We have strengthened a training and education of the security officers since 2006. It's necessary to efforts to improve about the training and education still. And there should improve a satisfaction of training accounting the notion of security guards.For the research, we divided according to the notions - instructors, education environments, contents of training and education - and studied the degree of the notion. And we investigated that these three kinds of notions effects on satisfaction of the training and education.The results of analysis were summarized in the below. Frist, most general security guards were satisfied with the notion of instructors but weren't satisfied with the notions of education environments and contents of training and education. Second, the three kinds of notions have effect on the satisfaction of the training and education. And especially, the major factor affecting the satisfaction of the training and education is instructors. Based on this examination, this research recommends like these. Instructors who charge the training and education should sincerely prepare lectures. And they are needed to reflect the understandings of the students. It's necessary that the educational place must equip the air cooling and heating facility. And we must prepare the equipments which are necessary to an business education training also.

양적으로 성장을 거듭하고 있는 우리나라의 민간경비는 최근 우수한 경비원을 양성하기 위한 노력을 다각도로 전개하고 있다. 즉, 대학 및 대학교에서는 민간경비 관련 학과가 개설되어 고등교육을 실시하고 있으며, 실제 경비원으로 입직한 경비원에 대하여는 2006년 이래로 교육훈련 과목을 조정하여 업무관련성을 높였다. 또한 교육시간을 확충하여 내실있는 교육을 추진하는 등 경비원 교육훈련을 확대·개편하는 노력을 하고 있다. 그러나 경비원 교육훈련의 개선노력은 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 필요성이 있으며, 교육의 수요자인 경비원들의 인식에 바탕을 두어 교육훈련의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방향으로 이루어 져야 한다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 일반경비원 신임교육생을 대상으로 하여 경비원 교육훈련에 대한 교수적 측면, 교육환경적 측면, 교육내용적 측면으로 구분하여 인식의 정도를 조사하였다. 그리고 이러한 세 측면의 인식이 교육훈련의 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는 지를 살펴보았다. 조사결과 전반적으로 신임경비원 교육훈련생들은 교수적 측면에서 긍정적으로 생각하고 있는 경우가 가장 높음을 알 수 있으며 시설이나 장비적인 측면, 그리고 교육내용에 있어서의 적절성은 상대적으로 낮다고 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 교육훈련 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 교수적 측면, 교육환경적 측면, 교육내용적 측면의 인식이 모두 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 교육훈련 만족도에 있어서는 교수적 측면이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 교육훈련을 담당하는 교수는 교육내용에 대한 해박한 지식은 물론 교육의 준비와 진행에 성실을 다하여야 하며, 교육훈련생들의 이해력의 정도를 반영하여 교육을 진행하여야 할 필요성을 제안하였다.
