Modern floral sculpture made use of a wide range of materials owing to development of scientific civilization and expressions. The purpose of the study set structure expressions of tree shapes by literature survey and site visit to establish structural expression and to make flower structure works. The study made forms of trees in geometrical shape to express four-dimensional visual perception by using three-dimensional image recording of holography and EL. The study expressed tree images by big tree and circulation to make use of transparent acrylics, hologram and plant materials at the big tree. The circulation symbolized circulation of the trees by using plant materials as well as EL to express cube. The flower structure works having geometrical shape of trees by using holography, EL and flowers to emphasize spread of four-dimensional time and space, massiveness, texture and movement by making change of movement and image colors and to express images vividly. The hologram colors consisted of splendid colors and patterns of spectrum to contrast tree shapes as well as colors and to produce contrast effects of texture.

본 연구의 목적은 나무의 이미지를 화예조형 작품으로 표현하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 나무의 형태를 기하형태로 형상화하고 3차원적인 영상기록기술인 홀로그래피와 EL을 이용해 4차원적인 시지각성을 표현하였다. 본 연구의 방법은 문헌과 현장 답사를 통해 나무 형상의 조형적 표현주관을 설정하고 화예조형 작품으로 표현하는 것이다. 홀로그래피, EL, 화훼를 재료로 나무를 기하형태로 화예조형 작품으로 표현한 작품을 분석한 결과, 움직임과 영상 색채의 변화로 4차원적인 시간성, 공간의 확산, 양감, 질감, 운동감을 강조하여 생동적 이미지기 표현되었다. 홀로그램의 색광은 스펙트럼의 화려한 색채로 변화를 이루고 이런 색 덩어리는 실물의 나무형상과 색의 대비, 질감의 대비효과로 나타났다. EL(Electro Luminescent)의 순차적인 점멸의 도입은 4차원적인 시간성, 운동성이 강조되고 생동적 이미지가 표현되었다. 홀로그램의 움직임은 관객의 관람위치와 조명의 위치에 따라 각기 다른 빛과 색, 형태를 보여주어 새로운 이미지가 창출되었다.
