유기산의 종류 및 농도가 참치뼈 스프의 조성에 미치는 영향

Fish bone contains a high level of calcium, but it is mostly discarded as waste. Developing ways of effective utilization of tuna bones are valuable for using calcium sources efficiently. Thus, this study examined effects of organic acid (such as acetic acid, citric acid, and malic acid) on minerals, proteins and total free amino acid contents of tuna bone extracts. The results revealed that the mineral of tuna bone was hardly extracted with water, but the extracted amounts were increased with added organic acids. The solid and mineral contents of soup with added citric and malic acid had the highest level. Extracts of proteins and total free amino acid were increased that added organic acid more than water.

부추의 ascorbic acid 함량 및 항산화 활성

Allium tuberosum is a perennial herb of which leaves are used for food. In this study, on preparing powder of leeks, we measured contents of ascorbic acid, chlorophyll, and total polyphenol, effective components which are contained in the leek. Simultaneously, we also did capability of removal for DPPH radical and antioxidant activity through FTC and TBA methods. The content of ascorbic acid was very different before and after drying. Before drying, that is 3.54±0.59 mg / 100 g. f.w., but 3.17±0.10 mg / 100 g. d.w. after drying. The chlorophyll was 5.91±3.97 / 100g f.w. in the raw leek, however, 1064.69 / 100g f.w.in the powder of it. Taken together, it suggests that relatively small amount of leek powder is more powerful to produce deep and vivid green color than raw ones. The total content of polyphenol was 60.29±1.20 mg / 100g f.w in the raw leek and 1076.79±6.00 mg / 100g d.w in the powder. When we compared the results methods of DPPH, FTC and TBA, we found that the more it contained total polyphenol, the more antioxidant activity was effective.

When tourists encountered some trouble in wayfinding at specific area, tourists would be stressed and couldn't be satisfactory. I raised some issues based on previous research. The purpose of this research is to suggest an effective management method for tourists' wayfinding behavior at tourist resort. Below are detailed purposes to be done. The result of analysis is as follows. First, I performed ‘multi regression analysis’ to check whether environment information influence on cognition or not. As a result, it was appeared that space differentiation and experience influenced on cognition meaningfully, while signage, asking help and landmarks didn't influence on cognition meaningfully. Second, I performed multi regression analysis to check if cognition influence on satisfaction. As a result, it was analyzed that cognition influenced on satisfaction meaningfully. The implications arisen from this study through analysis were as follows. First, when managers develop a tourism area, they should construct each area with differentiation. And, it will be very helpful for formulation of tourist cognition. Second, managers should give tourists special experience. This experience will be very helpful for formulation of tourist cognition. Finally, manager of tourist resort have to try to develop proper environment to make possible to easily form tourist’s cognition and this will facilitate for wayfinding at the same time can be a factor that make tourist satisfied.

Fish meats are used for various cooking. But their bones are mostly discarded as wastes. The developments of ways for effective utilization of fish bones(tuna) are valuable for the efficient use of calcium sources. Therefore, it was researched to effect of organic acid (such as acetic acid, malic acid, and citric acid) on mineral content and composition of fish bone extracts. The calcium of tuna bone was hardly extracted with water. However, amount of extracted were increased with added organic acids. The solid and mineral contents of soup with added to citric and malic acid had the highest levels. Calcium was extracted with tuna bone, effectively. As for the ratio of calcium and phosphorus, extraction of calcium was less than that of phosphorus without organic acid addition. As the organic acid was added, extraction of calcium was increased and their ratio also increased.

This paper was to investigate the most suitable storage conditions of potatoes in market and homes by determining of chlorophylls (Chs, ‘greening’) and potato glycoalkaloids (PGA; toxic substances) in potato peels produced by irradiating ultraviolet and five kinds of lights (red, purple, green, yellow and blue color) to the potato tubers. The ultraviolet from white fluorescent light did not almost relate on the production of PGA, while the ultraviolet light (254 nm)related the increases of α-chaconine (about 11%) and α-solanine (about 17%). Five kinds of visible light were irradiated to the potatoes, two colors (purple and yellow) remarkably suppressed the production of both Chls and PGA. Therefore, it is desirable to store potatoes under darkness, and blue or green color light or after.

Objectives: This study aimed to explore and describe how two patients diagnosed with type II diabetes mellitus were successfully cured solely through the use of herbal medicine. Methods: The patients were administered the herbal medicine to reduce symptoms of stress-induced fever with dryness. The prescribed herbal medicines included Yangkyuksanwha-tang, Hyungbangsabaek-san, Hyungbangjihwang-tang, and Hyungbangdojeock-san. Results: The therapeutic outcomes showed that all numerical levels of symptoms such as thirst, polyuria, weight loss, blood sugar, and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) recovered to within normal levels. Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that our medical treatment of type II diabetes mellitus diagnosed as Sogal was a valid treatment. We hope that our team's new evidence and findings will shed positive light on the treatment of type II diabetes mellitus using herbal medicine.

Objectives: This study describes how two patients diagnosed with type-II diabetes mellitus were successfully treated using herbal medicine. Methods: The patients were given Yuldahanso-tang to reduce the effects of Taeumin's dry-febrile symptom. Results: Type-II diabetes mellitus symptoms experienced by patients with Taeumin's dry-febrile symptom included thirst, fatigue, weight loss, and numbness in the hands and feet. After administering Yuldahanso-tang, all numerical levels for blood sugar, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), glycosuria, and proteinuria recovered to within normal levels. Conclusions: Treatment of patients with Taeumin's dry-febrile symptom and type-II diabetes mellitus with Yuldahanso-tang was effective, and this new evidence supports the use of herbal medicine for treating such patients.

Objectives Adverse reactions can becaused by contrast media used in computed tomography. The aim of this study was to report the improvement of allergic response caused by contrast media after treatment with Modified Hyeongbangpaedok-san, histamine antagonists and steroids. Methods We retrospectively reviewed the medical records. The patient's subjective symptoms such as rash and pruritus were evaluated by the range of rash and numeric rating scale(NPS). Results All symptoms showed nearly complete remission with continued Korean traditional medical treatment. Conclusions A female patient had been injected with contrast media for Computed tomography(CT) evaluation of lung cancer. Rash and pruritus appeared 1 day after injection. We prescribed Modified Hyeongbangpaedok-san. Patients were treated with both Korean medicine and Western medicine. Consequently, the symtoms were improved significantly after combination treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine.

HPLC를 이용한 하동 녹차의 Catechin류, Alkaloid류 분석 및 항산화능 측정

하동지역에서 생산되는 잎 녹차(우전, 세작, 중작, 대작)에 함유되어 있는 catechin류, alkaloid류 및 theanine를 HPLC를 이용하여 분석을 함과 동시에 녹차 추출물을 이용하여 총 페놀 물질과 항산화능을 측정하였다. Catechin류와 alkaloid류, theanine, 총 페놀 화합물의 함량은 물 추출물 보다 80% 알코올 추출물에서 더 높았다. 총 catechin과 alkaloid의 함량은 80% 에탄올로 추출한 우전(172.33 mg/g, 30.80 mg/g)에서 가장 높았다. Theanine의 함량도 80% 에탄올 추출물에서 높았고 55.36에서 37.48 mg/g의 범위였다. 녹차의 총페놀 화합물은 우전에서 가장 높았고, DPPH법, FTC법 및 TBA법을 이용한 항산화 활성 측정에서도 우전에서 높은 결과를 나타내었다.
This study used HPLC to analyze the contents of catechins, alkaloids, theanine, total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activities of commercial Hadong green tea leaves(Uzen, Sezak, Jungzak, Daezak). The content of catechins, alkaloids, theanine, total phenolic compounds were lower by water extracts than by 80% ethanol-water extracts. Total catechin and alkaloid contents in Uzen(172.33 mg/g, 30.80 mg/g) by 80% ethanol extract were the highest. Theanine contents of 80% ethanol-water extracts ranged form 55.36 to 37.48 mg/g of tea leaves. Total phenloic compounds contents of green tea were higher than Uzen. Antioxidative of green tea by DPPH, FTC, TBA method were higher than that Uzen.

Missing Type I AGNs in the local universe

Type I AGNs are classified by the presence of broad emission lines while Type II AGNs show narrow emission lines only. All-sky surveys such as SDSS provide large AGN samples for statistical studies. However, the AGN samples suffer selection bias due to the incomplete selection criteria. To investigate the missing Type I AGNs in optical spectroscopic surveys, we start with a sample of SDSS Type II AGNs at 0.02 < z < 0.05, using the MPA-JHU SDSS DR7 catalog. We search for the hidden broad $H{\alpha}$ component with both visual inspection and the multi-component spectral decomposition method. Out of 1383 Type II AGNs, we find a total of 62 missing Type I AGNs (~4.5%). The sample has mean black hole mass, log $(M_{BH}/M_{SUN))=6.48{\pm}0.53$, and luminosity, log $(L_{H{\alpha}}/ergs^{-1})=40.52{\pm}0.33$, with Eddington ratio, log $(L_{bol}/L_{Edd})=-1.51{\pm}0.41$. We will describe the sample and present the $M_{BH}-{\sigma}_*$, and $M_{BH}-M_*$ relations of the sample in the context of the BH-galaxy coevolution.

능이버섯의 맛 성분과 향기성분

본 연구는 능이버섯의 식품학적 이용성 증진을 위한 기초적인 연구로써 능이버섯의 휘발성 및 비휘발성 기호성분을 분석하였다. 단맛에 관여하는 유리당은 glucose, trehalose, sucrose, xylose가 검출되었고 총 함량은 202.5 mg/kg이었다. 단맛, 쓴맛 및 감칠맛에 관여하는 아미노산의 함량을 분석한 결과, 필수아미노산과 총 유리아미노산의 함량은 각각 1,249.5 mg/kg과 2,592.1 mg/kg으로 나타났다. 버섯의 5'-nucleotide 함량을 분석한 결과, 감칠맛에 관여하는 5'-nucleotide의 함량은 773.4 mg/kg으로 측정되어 총 5'-nucleotide의 30.8%를 차지하였다. 능이버섯의 향기성분을 분석한 결과, 6종의 alcohol류, 4종의 ketone류, 8종의 aldehyde류 및 3종의 함황화합물을 비롯하여 총 27종의 향기성분이 확인되었다. 이 중 1-octen-3-ol이 전체 향기성분의 68%를 차지하였고, 2-octen-1-ol, 1-octen-3-one 그리고 2-octenol 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 능이버섯을 이용한 기능성 식품 및 식품재료로서의 이용성 증진을 위한 기초 자료로 제공될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
Sarcodon aspratus (Berk.) S. Ito is a wild mushroom commonly consumed in Korea due to its beneficial effects on health. However, only limited information on the volatile and nonvolatile constituents of S. aspratus is available. In the present study, the total concentration of mushroom soluble sugars, including glucose, trehalose, sucrose, and xylose, was found to be 202.5 mg/kg. The total contents of free and essential amino acids were 2,592.1 mg/kg and 1,249.5 mg/kg, respectively; arginine, lysine, methionine, and valine were the major amino acids present. The contents of total 5'-nucleotides and flavor 5'-nucleotides in S. aspratus were 2,510.7 mg/kg and 773.4 mg/kg, respectively. The volatile components of S. aspratus were collected by simultaneous distillation-extraction (SDE) and analyzed by gas chromatography-massspectrometry (GC-MS). A total of 27 volatile compounds were isolated and identified. The most abundant was l-octen-3-ol, which accounted for more than 68% of total volatiles; other important compounds were 2-octen-1-ol, 1-octen-3-one, and 2-octenol. Our results provide preliminary data for the development of S. aspratus as a food material.

보건소 건강증진 사업 중 기공체조 유용성에 관한 연구

Objectives: The study evaluated efficacy of the Gigong program in health promotion service programs using oriental medicine. Methods: The data were collected from 31 female participants who completed the Gigongprogram from February to May of 2009 in Eumsung-Gun. The questionnaires to measure efficacy of the Gigong program were composed of demographic items, past history, family history, why they joined the program, satisfaction with the Gigong program, lipid profile, etc. The lipid profiles were collected before and after the Gigong program. Results: Satisfaction with the Gigong lectures and program was 88.4%. Improvement of daily life after the Gigong program was 92.2%. Mood and exercise habits of daily life significantly improved. Conclusions: From these results, the Gigong program is worthwhile for promoting health, so further study is needed to determine its efficacy.
