Transfer Function Approximation Via Rationalized Haar Transform in Frequency Domain SCOPUS

For system analysis and design purposes, it is meaningful discussion to define control system pole status whether a pole is significant or not. If a pole is less important, it can be canceled from the transfer function of system and system order is reduced. In this paper a method for system order reduction of transfer function using Rationalized Haar functions based on approximation and transform algorithm is presented. The Haar function set forms a complete set of orthogonal rectangular functions such as Walsh and block pulse functions. But the Haar functions have some disadvantages of calculation because of including irrational numbers such as ± sp, (p = 1, 2, ..). The Rationalized Haar functions were introduced by M. Ohkita to overcome these disadvantages. The Rationalized Haar functions constitute of rational numbers only. The applied method to solve the system order reduction of transfer function problem is superior to conventional numerical methods.

Compared with model approximation for general SISO transfer function models with or without a single constant delay, the approximation problem for SISO transfer function models with multiple delays has received much less attention. In this paper, we attack this problem and thus present a multiple-point step response fitting based approximation method to derive the reduced models. A simple frequency-domain weighted recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm is proposed to determine a set of parameters so that the reduced models can approximate the original models by minimizing the defined frequency-domain squared-error between the step responses of the original and the reduced model. Numerical examples have demonstrated that the proposed approximation approach can not only introduce less dynamic approximation error, but also yield zero steady-state error.

As a method of obtaining pulse transfer function. transfer function of discrete-time from input-output data, there are method of obtaining unknown parameter of pulse transfer function from estimated impulse response before(1-3). There is no need to approximate to several meanings because of not being established algebraical relations between impulse response for estimation error and parameter of transfer function exactly. In this paper, I inquire the method[4] of obtaining the optimal pulse transfer function as a meaning of Hankel norm approximation from impulse response data and examine estimated property as computer simulation from this method.
Pade 근사법과 전달함수 축소기법을 이용한 네트워크 기반 제어 시스템 설계

본 논문은 네트워크 기반 제어시스템(NCS: Networked Control Systems)모델매칭 제어기법을 적용한 효율적인 제어알고리즘을 제안한다. 비선형의 특징을 가지는 제어기 및 관측기의 시간지연을 Pade 근사법으로 선형화하여 선형시스템 이론을 적용한 모델매칭 제어기를 설계하였다. 또한, 제어기의 차수를 줄이기 위하여 저차시스템으로 근사화하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 제안한 제어알고리즘의 타당성 및 신뢰성을 검증하기 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 실시하였으며 기존의 PID 제어기법과 비교분석하였다.
