A Quality Analysis Model of Computer Software System Based on Fuzzy Information Content

Developing computer software system is a crucial part of the intelligent design. In order to solve problems presented in software system quality analysis, this paper proposes a quality analysis model for computer software system based on fuzzy information content. In this model, fuzzy information content of quality analysis indicators is defined according to information axiom, and a software system quality analysis index system is constructed with the basic layer, the support layer and the application layer considered. With the index system, fuzzy information content can be computed and analyzed to obtain fuzzy information content of computer software system. This facilitates the quantitative analysis on the quality of the software system. Finally, an engineering case study is introduced to explain how the model works and proves efficacy and feasibility of the model.

In this paper an attempt has been made to develop Predator- prey Models on interaction between Computer worms, Trojan horse and antivirus software inside a computer system. Five mathematical models are proposed to study the Predator-prey system inside a computer system. In mathematical model 1, the prey consists of uninfected files, whereas, the predator consists of computer worms. In mathematical model 2, the infected files constitute the prey and anti-virus software is the predator. In mathematical model 3, Effect of new or updated antivirus software on such computer worms which are quarantine or not completely recovered by the lower version of installed antivirus software in the system is studied which switches the rate of infection to zero. In mathematical model 4, Reactivation of computer worms when they are in the latent class is mathematically formulated. In mathematical model 5, we have attempt to develop and understand the recent attack of the Trojan horse Backdoor. Kihomchi and Trojan.Zbot!gen74 and its removal by newly available tool NPE.exe. The stability of the result is stated in terms of the Jacobian of the system and the basic reproduction number is also well defined for all models. Numerical methods and MATLAB are employed to solve and simulate the system of equations developed and analysis of the models gives remarkable exposure.

This paper describes a Transient Stability Education & Training Software that can make the students or beginners easily be familiar with power system stability problems. The Major objective of this study is to provide, for educational purpose, an interactive computer graphic tool that can facilitate power system study in highly user-friendly environment. The proposed software is designed to have the particular features such as follow : simulation with animation of the rotor, useful interactive scheme, various graphic illustrations related to critical factors of the stability, trace function including revival simulation with different processing speed. With these features, the software could be suitable for educational and training of students/beginners in power system stability engineering field.

Improvement of the multichannel sea surface temperature(MCSST) software, which had been developed for the purpose of operating under mainframe computer system, was seeked in order to operate effectively in a mini computer system. CPU time and processing time, which is not a major factor under mainframe computer system, become a critical factor in real time image processing under mini computer system. Due to fixed kernel size(3$\times$4) of the old MCSST software, high spatial resolution characteristics of the original image received from satellites were apparently degraded when images are transformed into a cartesian coordinate system after geometrical distortions of the image due to earth curvature are removed. CPU and processing time were reduced to 0.13 and 0.15~0.22 comparing with the old MCSST's, respectively, by applying disk block I/O and M/T queue I/O method under VAX-11/750 computer. The high resolution quality (1.1km in AVHRR) of the processed image was guaranted using 2$\times$2 kernel size and applying moving window techniques without sacrificing CPU and processing time much.
