본 연구는 오늘날 우리나라의 병원에서 사용되는 전략의 경우 어떻게 수립이 되고 전개하는지에 알아보기 위한 실증연구이다. 전략은 기존연구들에서 제시한 것처럼 현재 가지고 있는 내부역량과 외부환경을 고려하여 수립한다고 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 9개 국립병원들을 대상으로 하여 전략의 개발과 전개로 나누어 환자만족, 종업원만족, 병원업무에는 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 알아보았다. 그 결과 우리나라의 병원들은 전략을 수립하여 전개함에 있어서 내부의 요인인 종업원만족과 병원업무 외부요인인 환자만족에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 많은 관련연구들이 제시한 것처럼 우리나라 병원의 경우에도 인건비상승, 원자재 가격의 상승, 외래환자의 감소 등 내부 상황을 고려하고 의약분업, 해외자본의 국내의료시장 진출, 고소득으로 인한 높은 의료서비스의 질의 요구 등 외부상황을 고려하여 전략을 수립하고 전개하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 고객만족, 종업원만족, 업무프로세스를 개선시 각각의 의견을 반영한 전략이 수립되므로 이는 자연히 병원의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 연구의 결과가 나타났으며 우리나라의 병원들도 전략을 수립시 내부적인 여러상황을 고려하여 수립하고 전개한다고 할 수 있다.

The objective of this research is to find out how strategy development and deployment effect on patients satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and work process in Korean hospitals. Previous researches suggested when establish a strategy had to reflect internal ability which are work process, employee satisfaction and others and external ability which are patients satisfaction and others. As a results, strategy development positive influence on patients satisfaction, employee satisfaction and work process, and strategy deployment positive influence on patients satisfaction, employee satisfaction and work process as well. Patients satisfaction positive influence on hospital performance and work process influence on hospital performance but employee satisfaction is not.

The objective of this paper is to find out how Hospital Information System influence on, Strategy, Work Process, and Human Resource Management based on Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Model. An empirical study is to analyze the causal relationships among Hospital Information System, Strategy, Work Process, and Human Resource Management. Data were collected from the six Korean hospitals. the results of this study indicate that Hospital Information System positive effects other factors This study show that Hospital Information System has became one of the most important factor in hospitals. However, RMR value and AGFI value are not statistically significant thus we changed research model to use MI(Modification Index).
