This study investigates the effects of various Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) signal anomalies and throttle body defects on automotive acceleration and safety by experimentally reproducing and analyzing eight distinct fault scenarios. The results demonstrate that the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) consistently detects signal anomalies and activates fail-safe modes, limiting throttle response and engine output to maintain automotive control. In all fault conditions, sudden unintended acceleration was effectively prevented, and braking performance remained unaffected. These findings underscore the robustness of the throttle control system against electrical and mechanical defects and offer valuable insights for the design of safer drive-by-wire systems.

This study investigates the impact of both direct and indirect moisture ingress into an automotive engine control unit(ECU) on vehicle behavior and operational safety. Two experimental conditions were examined: exposure to an environment with 100% relative humidity(indirect ingress) and direct injection of 1.0~2.0 cc of water onto the ECU(direct ingress). The results showed no abnormal behavior under indirect moisture conditions. However, direct moisture ingress caused engine malfunctions, warning light activations, and irregular vehicle behavior. Notably, the vehicle's safety logic functioned as intended, resulting in engine shutdown without leading to unintended acceleration. These findings provide quantitative data valuable for future reliability assessments of ECUs and investigations into sudden unintended acceleration phenomena.

Recently, there has been growing anxiety about automotive due to accidents suspected to be caused by sudden unintended acceleration. A study was conducted on the effect of automotive defects on Sudden Unintended Acceleration. Experimental results were derived and analyzed by simulating the situation of sudden unintended acceleration while driving a automotive. It was experimentally confirmed that the defect in the TPS sensor had no direct effect on the rapid increase in RPM. It has been confirmed that the vehicle brakes normally when the brakes are applied even if there is a TPS sensor defect. In the future, it is necessary to investigate the correlation between automotive defects and sudden unintended acceleration through various experiments.

본 연구의 목적은 당제철소에서 생산하는 제품중 전기강판 방향성 제품의 제질(철손) 불량원인을 추적하여 조업 guidance를 제시하는 model개발이다. model개발은 현장조업 data에 대해 상관분석, 회귀분석, 분산분석등의 통계적분석을 통하여 재질에 영향을 미치는 주 관련인자들의 조업기준 재정립과 menu화면에 의한 자동 불량원인 추적 model을 개발하였으며, model개발을 위한 사용 tool은 SAS package를 활용하였다.

Recently, on power system, it is used to high voltage of transmission and distribution due to safe power supply and have high quality and insulation in order to satisfy excellent insulator. Thus, according to underground of high voltage cable, is occurred break down by ground short. Therefore, it is used to high quality XLPE power cable to interrupt instantaneous voltage drop. If it appear inner defect for cable whose have high quality and insulation, it is reduced rapidly due to concentration of electrical field. After assemble to manufacture, in order to inspect cable condition, it is decided much inspection standard. In this paper, In inner defect of assembling cable at manufacture, for measure the variation of insulation condition by void. it tested the variation of insulating characteristics, using $\phi$-q-n distribution variation in partial discharge experiment.

Characteristic of Soil and Cambial Electrical Resistance for Investigation on Defect Cause of Planting Tree in Apartment

The purpose of this paper is to provide information on planting construction for healthy plant growth. To achieve this purpose, this study analyzed the planting type, planting density, withering rate, soil characteristics, and cambium electrical resistance (CER) of withered trees in an apartment complex with a high withering rate. The major plant groups examined consisted of native broad-leaved tree species (39.3%), native narrow-leaved tree species (24.2%), and native broad-leaved - exotic narrow-leaved tree species (16.4%). The planting density of the green area, where trees were planted from 0.0 to 0.3 trees per unit area, was measured as 98.4%. Withered trees were found in 19 of the 20 planted species, and the withering rate was 41.8% (610 withered/1,461 planted). Withering rates for tree species were measured as follows: Sophora japonica and Salix babylonica (100.0%), Magmolia denudata (84.3%), Lindera obtusiloba (74.7%), cornus kousa (69.3%), acer triflorum (69.2%), diospyros kaki (66.7%), Prunus yedoensis (62.8%), Acer palmatum (52.6%), Prunus armeniaca (51.1%), Chaenomeles sinensis (43.7%), Ginkgo biloba (40.9%), Zelkova serrata (31.0%), Cornus officinalis (28.6%), Taxus cuspidata (25.6%), Pinus densiflora (21.4%), Pinus parviflora (15.2%), Pinus strobus (14.6%), and Abies holophylla (10.3%). Soil chemical analyses for 18 samples revealed that as the withering rate increased, the following occurred: (a) the ratio of silt and clay in soil increased; (b) the soil pH, organic matter rate, nitrogen, available phosphorus, and cation exchange capacity (CEC) in samples were graded as "inadequate," based on the plant grading evaluation; and (c) the NaCl and cation exchange capacity were evaluated as "somewhat satisfactory." The measurement of CER for withering rate shows electrical resistance for higher withering rate are higher, which could predict that a tree will not grow well.

The electrical conductivity of polycrystalline TiO2 samples was measured over the temperature range 1000°-1400℃ and from 0.21 to 10-16 atm of oxygen. Based on the excellent fit observed between the theoretically derived relatin σ3=(Aσ+B)Po2-1/2+D'σ2 and the experimental conductivity data, the nonstoichimetric defect structure of TiO2 was rationalized in terms of a defect model involving quasi-free electrons and both singly and doubly ionized oxygen vacancies. The standard enthalpy of formation for the following defect reactions in TiO2. (a) OO={{{{ { 1} over {2 } }}O2(g)+VO+e'; Δ{{{{ { H}`_{o } ^{a } }}=5.15(eV) (b) OO={{{{ { 1} over {2 } }}O2(g)+VO+2e'; Δ{{{{ { H}`_{0 } ^{ a} }}=6.30(eV) (c) VO=VO+e'; Δ{{{{ { H}`_{0 } ^{a } }}=1.15(eV) were determined from the temperature dependence of A and B obtained from the above relation and from the experimental expression between the electron mobility and temperature. The electrical conductivity of TiO2 in air below approximately 950℃ appears, on the basis of this investigation, to be impurity controlled due to the presence of aluminum rather than intrinsic conduction.

본 연구는 전기비저항 단층촬영(ERT)의 역해석 과정이 갖는 불량조건(ill-posed) 특성으로 인한 낮은 영상 해상도 문제를 개선하기 위해, 자코비안 행렬 통합(Jacobian Matrix Augmentation) 기법을 제안하고 그 유효성을 검증하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이 기법은 다양한 'skip' 패턴과 같은 다수의 측정 프로토콜로부터 얻어진 포괄적인 데이터 셋을, 역해석을 위한 정보가 풍부한 단일 민감도 행렬로 통합하는 방식이다. 제안된 기법의 유효성은 철근과 균열을 포함하는 시편에 대한 실험을 통해 입증되었다. 단일 프로토콜을 사용한 기존 영상과 비교했을 때, 통합 기법은 내부 이상체를 훨씬 높은 선명도로 재구성하였으며, 그 특징들은 더욱 뚜렷하고 정확하게 국소화되었다. 또한, 영상 품질은 통합된 데이터의 양과 다양성에 비례하여 향상되는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 통합 기법이 다양한 측정 정보를 활용하여 ERT 역해석 문제의 안정성과 정확도를 향상시키는 강력한 전략임을 입증하였다.

This study aims to improve the low image resolution of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT), which stems from the ill-posed nature of its inverse problem, by proposing and validating a Jacobian Matrix Augmentation technique. This method integrates comprehensive data-sets obtained from multiple measurement protocols, such as various ‘skip' patterns, into a single, information-rich sensitivity matrix for the inversion process. The technique's effectiveness was experimentally demonstrated on specimens containing a steel rebar and an artificial crack. Compared to conventional images from single protocols, the augmented approach reconstructed these internal anomalies with significantly higher clarity, showing features that were more distinct and accurately localized. Furthermore, the image quality was confirmed to be proportional to the amount and diversity of the integrated data. In conclusion, this study validates that the augmentation technique is a powerful strategy for improving the stability and accuracy of the ERT inverse problem by leveraging diverse measurement information.
